One of the only things I'm absolutely certain about when it comes to my supernatural identity is that I am at least partially vampiric. I fit the trope - a super pale person with dark hair and typically a darker aesthetic. However, we should all know by now not to judge a book by its cover. So, just why do I believe that I'm vampric? What led me to this conclusion? There's a few things.
Firstly, the most indisputable experience I have had that I believe is vampiric in nature is this: my partner once got a small wound while I was with him. Being a good girlfriend, I helped him clean up the blood. While doing so, I tasted a small droplet that had gotten on my finger instead of the paper towel. It was absolutely delicious. The rest of that day and the next, it was like I was on a constant IV of caffeine. I didn't even have a crash, it just slowly had less of an effect as the days passed. This was the event that made me seriously question vampirism.
Afterwards, I began looking back on my life in a new lens of "were there other experiences that I missed?" And rest assured, there were. For example, I gain a large boost of energy from storms. While this may also be attributed to my affinity for them, it is the single time I truly feel energetic - My energy is aligned to them and so it is easiest for me to feed from them. Now I also crave blood. There is some more stuff, but it's mostly tantric and I don't feel comfortable talking about nsfw stuff here.
