"Ughh...." an almost inaudible groan escaped his mouth. He squinted his eyes the moment he opened them, and after a moment, he could already adjust to the lighting around him.

He stared at the blank white ceiling above him and saw his left leg that was currently bandaged and he could feel the soreness and pain all over his body as if he was crashed by a truck.

"Wait, I did indeed had been in a car accident," Kang Hajin muttered.

Memory slowly returned and he started to see a few suspicious details. On the same day he planned to kill his uncle and put the blame on his lover, he also somehow almost killed.

If it was someone else, they might think it was a retribution for him after doing a bad thing but Kang Hajin didn't even believe in God let alone a mere retribution.

"Take care on your way. Drive safely."

That was the last word he heard from that man and somehow it suddenly emerged in his mind.

"Ha, don't tell me he somehow managed to deduce what I might do and prepared countermeasures. Tsk, being too witty is also annoying. Here I am hoping he won't be too perceptive," Kang Hajin muttered.

Even though he somehow felt interested with Ha Jinwoo but it was only if he could control that man. However, the more he interacted with Ha Jinwoo, the more he realized, that man wouldn't let other people control him like a caged bird.

Kang Hajin knew Kang Dowon never felt suspicious with him thus that was why he managed to put spies among Kang Dowon's security personels. That was how he knew his uncle's lover would plan a surprise.

Thus he created a foolproof plan in order to make sure Kang Dowon would really be killed in the accident.

Two trucks and even group of gun shooters that evenly match the number of the bodyguards. Kang Dowon's possibility to survive is less than 10%.

Kang Hajin immediately rang the bell on his bedside and immediately his bodyguard/personal assistant entered the ward.

"How long have I been unconscious?"

"Around 30 hours. Madam Kang had just arrived and currently on her way here."

"What happened to them?"

The bodyguard knew who Kang Hajin was referring to, "Sir Kang Dowon is currently in coma while Ha Jinwoo might wake up tomorrow. His condition is slightly worst than you."

"Pftt, so they managed to survive huh?" Kang Hajin sneered. The soreness all over his body made him felt more irritated.

"Sir, we need to start thinking of a plan. Chairman Kang had already started to crack down on your shell companies in Macau, Hong Kong and Caribbean. Another group of unknown people also started to track down all the people you have silenced before."

Even without further explanation, Kang Hajin knew if he do nothing to cover his crimes, even if Kang Dowon died, he won't be able to inherit the Kang family business. Chairman Kang might just give it away to any of the shreholders he trusted.

"Where is that old woman?"

"Madam Kang is on her way to this hospital."

"What is her plan?" Kang Hajin knew his grandmother was someone cautious despite slightly coward.

She must have decided to use someone as a scapegoat since she couldn't touch Kang Dowon recklessly.

"Madam had planted multiple leads to make Ha Jinwoo as the scapegoat. The news had reported that the two incident involving you and Kang Dowon is related to a cartel group. Ha Jinwoo's past make him the perfect scapegoat. She also plan to use Ha Jinwoo to take the blame on your other crimes."
