Emperor Ardan looked at the several baskets and bouquets of flowers that were filling up his room.

They were all came from the same person.

He stared at the small postcard in his hand once again.

He was never angry to begin with. He was actually felt confused with what he should actually feel.

Emperor Ardan didn't know what he should feel. Its been a whole week since they last met after that night and Hileo had been acting as if he was courting him.

On the first day, the gifts were still normal, just a few set of suits along with expensive accessories. The second day, the gifts started to become more and more unexpected (?).

Starting from homecooked meal that he never saw or tasted but weirdly enough they all suit his taste so well that he couldn't help but finished eating everything and almost blurted out that he wanted more but decided not to when the messenger said it was Hileo who cooked them.

Later on, he got a dozens of rare diamonds and purified demonic monster cores. What he going to use those for?

Then, he got  a painting of him, not him as the emperor but him on the bed looking slightly daze(?). And when he burn that painting, there was another painting inside it being revealed. It was a painting of Hileo being painted in similar manner.

And he couldn't make himself to burn that picture! He even put that picture inside his secret chamber so that no one could see it.

Yesterday, he got a few expensive fur coats made off demonic monsters which  Hileo said was a couple set since he also had similar coats.

"Is this guy have gone crazy?" Emperor Ardan muttered but he didn't realized how he had been in a good mood and subconsciously had been waiting for it everyday.

The grand Chamberlain who was also in the same room heard the Emperor's word and couldn't help but felt nervous, 'Is he referring to me?'

"Is there something wrong your Majesty?"

"No it's nothing. Ask the butler to take all this flowers and put them around my room. By the way, is there anything you wanted to discuss?"

"Ehem, yes. The royal inspectors wanted to invite Count Aragon to help them investigate a suspicious group since during the war, Count Aragon managed to infiltrate the enemy intelligent base several times without being detected. Thus he is the most suitable man to infiltrate the group's base."

"They want Hileo to help huh? Are you sure?" Emperor Ardan asked since Hileo's reputation wasn't that good among the upper class.

"Most knights working with the royal inspectors are either fallen nobles or commoners thus they didn't care much as long as they can conclude the investigation."

"Oh. Then summoned Hileo to meet me as soon as possible."

"Yes, your Majesty."
