"Good morning," Hileo said when he saw Hirza opened the door towards the kitchen in dazed.

They were currently residing inside Count Reinhardt secret underground bunker.

"Daddy?" Hirza looked confused.

"Didn't I promised that the first person you see when you wake up will be me?"

"Oh. Welcome back."

Hileo smiled when he saw Hirza was still in daze. He couldn't help but picked the boy up and hugged him.

"I heard my son managed to kill a bad people yesterday. What reward do you want?"

"I want to go see the royal hunt," Hirza said unhesitantly.

"Oh, of course but you must promise me not to get hurt and don't be separated from Helena or your guard."

"Ok I promise. Pinky promise," Hirza hooked his pinky finger on Hileo's thumb since he couldn't reach Hileo's pinky fingers.

"Daddy need to visit the emperor. I need to report about the bad guy to him. You guys be good kids and play with the herbs I already prepared inside one of the room. Later when you feel bored, go to the lake behind the mansion and play with the Capybara but never left the mansion ground without me ok."

"Ok."

"Good. Go wake your sister and have breakfast. I cook everything by myself today."

Hirza looked excited when he heard it was Hileo who cooked. His father's cooking was better than the chef and he likes it a lot.

"Daddy, I want to drink carrot juice and buttermilk chicken with spaghetti for dinner, can I?"

"Sure. I will make creme brulé for dessert so tell your sister that."

Hirza knew that his Daddy would always fulfill his promise and felt relieved.

"Daddy, will you have more work later?"

"Yes but I will always come find you and read you a bedtime story or make breakfast for you. If I'm too busy, I will make your favorite dessert. Steven said you like to eat apple tart lately. You want me to make it for you tomorrow?"

"Yes....Please."

"Of course."

Hileo spend the morning having breakfast with his children which he rarely did since he arrived at the capital. Fortunately the two kids were always understanding and didn't throw any tantrums.

After finishing his breakfast, he immediately left to meet the emperor since he was confident with the security of the Reinhardt family.

"It seems you're fine," emperor Ardan said with a stoic expression which was the opposite of what Hileo expected.

He thought his lover might immediately pounced on him and checked if he was really ok or not.

"Yes, fortunately I'm not injured." Something amiss.

"Hn, drink this tea. You like sunflower tea the most right. I already prepared them for you myself," Emperor Ardan said while pouring the tea into a Hileo's teacup.

The servants all have been dismissed and there was only two of them inside the emperor's personal office.

"Oh thanks."

"I have some work to do first so take your time enjoying the tea," he said before continue reading the stacks of document.

Hileo also used the moment to think about how he should explain what had happened. Knowing his lover, he should obviously feel dissatisfied about Hileo hiding such things from him.
