*Third Person POV*
As Andromeda slipped into a deep sleep, her mind brought forth the day's events and replayed them. The lessons from that morning had been quite interesting, but Andromeda's subconscious mind was more focused on what had occurred in Professor Jackson's class. Andromeda still could not fathom where her sudden knowledge of swordfighting had sprung from, but she was intrigued to learn more during her next DADA class.
All of a sudden, her mind took a sharp turn from replaying memories to scenes of what looked like a summer camp sprawling across what she guessed to be Long Island in New York. Andromeda's mind's eye zoomed in on a large blue farmhouse, with wind chimes made of seashells and clear crystal shards tinkling in the light breeze. She was surprised to be able to feel the warm salt air across her face, heavy with the scent of strawberries.
Andromeda turned at the sound of hooves on the wooden porch of the blue farmhouse, and was stunned to see a bearded centaur with a bow and quiver slung over his shoulder. A blonde haired, grey eyed woman walked beside the centaur, wearing a bright orange t-shirt with the words Camp Half-Blood printed across it. A necklace full of different coloured beads bounced around her neck and a white sword hung in a leather sheath at her hip.
Andromeda opened her mouth to apologize for trespassing, but no sound came out. She realised that she could neither be seen nor heard by the pair that walked by her, and so decided to observe their conversation.
The blonde woman spoke first. "Chiron, I know we've been over this before, but I really do think that I should have gone with Percy to Scotland. He's got no idea how to teach a bunch of magicians swordfighting," she stated rather exasperatedly. She ran her fingers through her blonde curls and sighed.
"I know you feel that way, Annabeth, but unfortunately I had no say in the matter. You know as well as I do that this is a mission Percy was given by Poseidon and Hecate," the centaur, Chiron, replied. "Besides, he's not just there to teach those young witches and wizards swordfighting, he's also there to find his sister. You of all people should know that a child of Poseidon is very susceptible to being discovered by monsters due to their powerful auras. And who better to find the girl than Percy?" Chiron laid his hand atop Annabeth's.
Annabeth looked across the lawn towards the strawberry fields and sighed again. "I know, but I miss my seaweed brain. Camp isn't the same without him," she replied somewhat morosely.
Andromeda pondered her situation. Here she was, sitting silent and invisible on the front porch of a house in a camp she had never been to, listening to a conversation between a woman and a centaur, all while her physical body was fast asleep in her bed at Hogwarts. She snorted with derision at the thought of telling someone about this.
Suddenly, Annabeth's piercing gaze was aimed towards Andromeda, as if she could sense another presence. "Chiron, I think someone is watching us," she said warily, placing her hand on the hilt of her sword. Annabeth stood abruptly and strode towards Andromeda. Chiron looked towards Andromeda, and as her vision began to fade, Andromeda could've sworn she saw a smile dance across the centaur's face. The scene before her faded to nothingness, and Andromeda drifted off into a deep, dreamless slumber.
