I jumped in the air with a shriek, turning towards the source of the sound. A man with shaggy black hair and sea-green eyes stood before me, stooping slightly because of the height of the carriage.

"Who are you?" I whimpered quietly.

"My name is Perseus Jackson. You can call me Percy. Did I just hear you say Kymatothráfsti?" the man before me queried.

My eyes grew wide. "Ummm... How much of that did you hear - or see?" I trembled with nerves.

Percy gave me a gentle smile before replying. "Almost all of it. Don't worry. I'm not going to tell anyone about it. Can I see your pen, though?"

I looked at him furtively, worried about what he was going to do to it. I debated whether or not I should do as Percy had asked and concluded that it wouldn't kill anyone if I showed him Kymatothráfsti.

"Sure... Here." I gently laid Wavebreaker into his open hand and stepped back.

He rolled the pen in his hand, inspecting every inch of it from every angle. He then took out a simple ballpoint pen from his pocket and uncapped it with one hand. I stepped back even further when his ballpoint pen turned into a 3-foot long bronze sword. He also clicked Wavebreaker, turning it into sword form.

"I didn't know Anaklusmos had a twin blade. Of course, Kymatothráfsti has a better design, hence the more elaborate Mist disguising it," Percy muttered to himself.

I didn't want to startle him, so I cleared my throat before speaking. "Um, Percy? What do you mean by Riptide having a twin blade? Is Riptide the name of your sword? My mom gave me Wavebreaker, and she wouldn't tell me where she got it, but she told me that I would find out soon, so if you could tell me, I would appreciate it."

Percy didn't seem to notice my rambling. But he did put the cap of his pen on the tip of his sword. Finally, Percy looked up at me and handed me Wavebreaker, handle towards me. I slowly reached for my sword, in awe of how he just held the sword by the blade, like he had done it before.

"Kymatothráfsti," I whispered. The sword turned back into the heavy bronze pen.

"What are you?" Andromeda murmured in awe.
