*A/N: Hi guys! All parts have been edited with any grammar mistakes either removed or fixed. Hopefully it's easier to read now, but any critiquing that can help better the story is greatly appreciated! Thanks, and enjoy!!*

"Andromeda! Come inside. Your letter is here!" Hermione called through the kitchen window. Her daughter skidded through the door, only to bump into the kitchen table. "Where is it, mom?" Andromeda gasped, out of breath from running to the house. "Calm down. It's right here." Hermione handed the letter to her daughter. Andromeda gasped as she saw the crest in the wax on the back. "This came from Hogwarts?! I'm going to Hogwarts?!" Hermione laughed. "Of course, dear. You've been down on the list to go there since you were born." Andromeda jumped up and down, squealing all the while. Hermione laughed again and gestured for her daughter to open the letter. Andromeda let out a huge breath and broke the wax seal.

Hogwarts School of Witchcraft and Wizardry

Headmistress: Minerva McGonagall

Dear Ms Andromeda Granger

We are pleased to inform you that we have accepted you into Hogwarts School of Witchcraft and Wizardry. Please find an enclosed list of the necessary books and equipment.

Term begins on September 1. We await your owl by no later than July 31.

Yours Sincerely,

Professor Neville Longbottom

Deputy Headmaster

"You told me about Neville, didn't you?" Andromeda queried. Hermione nodded. "Yes. He will be your Herbology professor at school." Andromeda clapped her hands. "So. When do we get my school things?" A grin slowly spread across Hermione's face. "How does today sound?" Andromeda gasped, then began jumping around again. "So, where are we going, then?" Hermione's grin grew even more. "We are going to Diagon Alley." Andromeda's jaw dropped. "B-but, mom. That's in London! How are we going to get there?"

"I already set up an international Floo line. It took me a while, but I got it figured out." Andromeda gasped in delight. "I'm going to Diagon Alley! I'm going to Diagon Alley! I'm going to Diagon Alley!" she sang. Hermione laughed. "Alright, calm down. You're scaring Crookshanks." Andromeda calmed down. "Sorry, mom. Can we leave right now?"

"Of course. You know how to Floo. Toss the dust, step in, and say your destination loud and clearly." Andromeda nodded. Hermione smiled at her daughter. "Do you want to go first?" Andromeda looked nervous. "Can you go first so that you're waiting for me?" Her mother smiled with understanding. "Yes, I can." Hermione went over to the fireplace and took down the small pot of sparkling green powder. Taking a handful, she tossed it into the flames. Hermione turned around and stepped into the fire backwards. Crossing her arms, she shouted, "Diagon Alley!" Suddenly, she disappeared.

Andromeda took a deep breath and let it out. Copying what her mother had done, she threw the powder into the fire, stepped into the flames, and shouted, "Diagon Alley!"

*Time Skip*

Andromeda tumbled out of the fireplace and into her mother's arms. "Are you alright, Andromeda?" Hermione asked, brushing her daughter off. "Yes, I'm fine. That was fun!" Hermione laughed and turned to face the stores of Diagon Alley. "Well, here we are. We have to go to Gringotts first. We need money before we can buy anything." Taking Andromeda's hand, Hermione started walking towards the wizarding bank. Arriving on the steps of the bank, Hermione stopped.

"Hurry! Get on!" Harry helped her onto the back of the dragon and shouted, "Relashio," pointing at the chains that held the dragon captive. Ron clambered on behind Hermione. The dragon, finally realizing that it was free, spread its wings and took off, flying up to the ceiling. Hermione shot spells to help the dragon break through the solid rock blocking its way to the sunlight. Finally, they broke through into the central part of Gringotts, where terrified goblins scattered. The dragon spread its wings even more and launched itself through the glass ceiling and into the sky.

Andromeda tugged on her mother's arm. "Mom? Are you alright?" Hermione shook herself out of her daze and smiled at her daughter. "Yes, love. I'm fine. I was only reliving a memory. I haven't been here since I broke in with Harry and Ron and escaped on a dragon." Andromeda's jaw dropped. "You broke into Gringotts?! And escaped on a dragon?! That is so cool!" Hermione laughed. "Well, it wasn't very cool back then, but all of our friends thought it was the coolest thing that had ever happened. Now, let's go." Walking up the stairs, Hermione stopped at the doors to let Andromeda read the poem on the door.

Enter stranger,

and take heed,

of what awaits,

the sin of greed,

for those who take,

but do not earn,

must pay most dearly

in their turn,

so if you seek

beneath our floors

a treasure

that was never yours

thief,

you have been warned

beware

of finding more than treasure there.

"Wow," Andromeda breathed. "That is intense. I guess you didn't heed that warning, did you, mom?" Hermione smiled at her daughter. "No, we didn't. Come on." Hermione pushed the doors open and walked inside. She walked up to the goblin at the farthest desk and cleared her throat. "Hello, Nikabrik. Do you remember me?" The goblin looked up and did a double-take. "You!" Hermione grinned. "Yes, it's me. I want to enter my vault, please." Nikabrik sighed dejectedly. "Very well, Miss Granger. Do you have your key?" Hermione dug in her coat pocket for a moment before pulling out an ornately wrought key made of gold. "Here it is. My daughter needs money to buy her school things." Andromeda peeked out from behind her mother shyly, as she had never seen a goblin before. Nikabrik smiled as kindly as he could. It wasn't very kind; in fact, it was quite a toothy smile. Nikabrik climbed down from behind the desk and beckoned the two Grangers to follow him.

Nikabrik took a lantern off of a shelf carved into the rock and climbed into a small cart. Hermione helped Andromeda into the trolley and climbed in after her. Nikabrik pulled a lever, and the cart shot down the track into the dark caverns. Bats flew overhead, and as they passed an extremely dark cavern, Andromeda could swear that she glimpsed a spurt of flames. Finally, the cart came to a sudden stop. Andromeda felt herself whip forward, and it was all she could do to stay in the cart. Nikabrik clambered out of the cart and placed the lantern on a hook set in the stone wall. "Key, please." Nikabrik held out his hand. Hermione handed the key to the small goblin, who then turned to place it into a keyhole in the stone wall. "Stand back, please," Nikabrik demanded. Hermione pulled Andromeda back a bit and watched as Nikabrik slowly ran a single finger down the wall. Andromeda's eyes grew wide as the wall slowly melted away to reveal mounds of gold, silver, and bronze.
