"I never thought I would meet someone like Mark. Since I lost someone that was dear to me and Isabella, I thought I wouldn't move on, yet, I am knowing Mark Sloan, even if he left Seattle."

Maria sighed as she looked in the mirror at herself. "Last night felt...normal. Like I could talk about what ever and not work or relationships. Meredith and Cristina, love them, but Mark, he knew not to bring up work and relationships because to be honest, I heard enough.'

She walked out hearing her daughter causing her to smile as she went to her room. "Come on." She says. "Let's get you fed and to the neighbor. Mommy will be at work." She says. "I love you, Isabella."

At work, Maria was making sure she had her badge on as she heard the others talking about her sister. She slammed the locker shut causing Izzie, Alex, and Cristina to look at the other Grey as she walked out. "It's none of your business what happened between them!" She yells. "I hate working with idiots!"

Standing in a patients room, Maria listened as she rather be working with Addison then be with her group of people she's stuck with. When Burke was done, Maria was the first to escape. She was not going to be stuck with gossip people till she saw Addison. "Maria, follow me."

"Thank you." She says as she followed her. "What is wrong?"

"You're about to find out."

The two girls went to see Bailey.

"How did you get that much poison oak?" Maria asked. "That's itchy."

"Maria."

"What? I'm not the one who went and pissed were poison oak is." She says.

Addison raised up and looked at Maria. "Why did I ask you to come with me?"

"Because I'm your favorite intern and two, I didn't screw your husband." She says causing Bailey to look up.

"She has a point."

Maria couldn't believe she was in here in the first place, but it got her away from her team.

Hearing that Denny, the candidate for a heart, was back in the hospital causing her to go see Alex. She knew he was heart broken as Izzy might do something that will hurt him. Hearing her phone ring, Maria looked and smiled as she saw who was calling causing her to step into the stair well. "Hello, Mark."

Meredith heard talking and walked to see who was in the stairwell and saw her sister sitting on the steps. "It's gotten crazy since you left last night. I hope you applied for a job, Mark."

The eldest Grey was shocked that Maria and Mark are in contact with one another. "Oh, boy." She says shutting the door before going back to work.

Maria wans't getting much paitents today. Her only paitent is Addison. She walked in and looked at her. "What did I miss?"

"I confessed."

"I thought I was the only one that knew the story." Maria says.

"Karma, Maria."

Maria nodded as she felt her pager buzzing. She looked at it and knew, she was not going in there. "Are you not going to answer that?"

"Denny." She tells Bailey.

"Oh."

Addison could tell how Maria was different from the other interns. She wants patients, but if there is an awkward atmosphere, the girl won't go around the others. She wants to focus on her work, but with the drama going on, the girl can't focus.

Later that day, Callie was the one to find Maria as she wanted her to come with her. "So, you're Ellis Grey's daughter."

"Yep." She says as they walked together. "How about the two of us hang out later?"

"Sure, Maria. I got my first friend."

Maria smiled as she walked away thinking about Mark. She couldn't wait to see if he put in an application. She wants to know him more and the way it looks, he wants to know her too. "Maria, we need to talk."

"About."

"I slept with George and cried." Meredith said.

Maria didn't know what to say as her sister dragged her away to talk. Something Maria is never good at.
