Maria sat waiting to hear about Isabella as Addison was doing her surgery. Richard saw the young Grey and walked over to her. "Maria?" She looked up at him. "I'm going to give you leave for now. Till Isabella is healed properly."

"But..."

"Don't worry about it. The interns will keep you informed and I will make sure you still get paid." He said sitting down beside her. "I've spoken to Bailey and she is fine with it. She just wants her person back."

Maria smiled as Addison walked out with a smile. "She's going to grow up healthy and happy." She says hugging Maria. "Go home, be with Isabella. We will see you when you come to visit your grandmother."

Maria nodded as she went to wait for Isabella in her room. She still didn't get to introduce her daughter to her mom causing her to go check on her mom while she waits. "Mom?"

Ellis looked and smiled. "Maria, how are you?"

"Well, I'll be gone on leave till Isabella is healed." She says. "Would you like to meet your granddaughter?"

Ellis smiled and nodded. Maria kissed her mom's head and walked out to go get her daughter. Her mother was okay for now, but when she's not, Maria won't come around. That's just how things have been. She smiled as she saw her daughter sound asleep. "Time for grandma to see you." She says as she pushed her daughter out of the room to her mom. "Mom, meet Isabella Grey."

Ellis smiled as she finally got to see her granddaughter. Maria just hopes her daughter will have a father figure that will love her like her real father would have.
