Indy had just finished softball practice. But sense she was there she decided to practice a few more hits. The rest of her friends and brother joined her at the field not long after.

"Who was that?" Indy asked, hitting a ball out to the open.

"That was Sam." Wes replied knowing that it irritated Indy, as she hit the ball harder and farther.

"You called Sam!" Indy shouted hitting another one, "You know she left Tara, right? I doubt Tara is gonna want to see her, you should have called her mom you idiot."

"Well, is she coming?" Amber asked concerned as she took a seat next Wes.

"Yeah." Wes replied with a sigh causing Indy to hit a ball so hard, it looked like it was going to break mid-air.

"Watch everything get worse." Amber mumbled as Indy pointed her bat at Amber.

Indy had the feeling that Amber was right. Indy wasn't the smartest person in the world, but one thing she did know. Is Sam has some crazy shit going on right now, and she doesn't want that to hurt Tara again.

"Hey heads up!" Chad shouted as him and Liv joined the group.

Indy turned around and ducked as a ball came flying towards her head. It hit the fence behind her. Wes chuckled slightly remembering how she almost took his head off the same way.

Just with a bat and not a ball.

"He wants me to accept his find me fam request." Liv sighed as she sat down, and Chad sat next to her.

"It would be the smartest thing to do with a would-be killer on the loose." Chad said as Indy hit another home run.

"Yeah but, the killer is most likely one of us, so it's also a really horrible idea." Indy said, hitting another one as the couch walked out onto the field turning the machine off, "Really!"

Indy ran off towards the couch, she was stressed out. And with everything going on, she knew that softball was going to be her only escape.

"What up with her?" Mindy asked as she watched Indy argue with the couch.

"Didn't you know?" Wes asked as everyone looked at him confused, "She saved Tara last night, she's worse than I am with all the protective gear, worse than my mom for that matter."

"Are you serious?" Liv asked shocked as she turned from her boyfriend to Wes.

"Dead serious. I never thought that baseball bat would be useful for anything other than softball." Wes shrugged as he watched his sister continue to argue with the couch.

Indy had lost the argument with her couch, and he made her hand the bat over. She did hesitantly before returning to her friends. Hearing Wes list out a bunch of things to carry around for safety.

"Girlfriend repellent, check." Indy sighed as she walked around the fence sitting next to her brother.

"Nice, thank you." Wes sighed whacking Indy upside the head.

"Oh shit, is that Vince?" Liv asked starring at the parking lot, to see a man who looked twice their age.

"That creep you hooked up with last summer?" Indy asked as she turned around to see the man.

"Yeah, he worked with me and Tara." Liv shrugged as she motioned for Indy to come towards her.

Which Indy did, Liv pulled Indy into a hug. Indy didn't know what it was for, but it felt nice.

"Is this just so I don't beat his ass?" Indy asked as she tried to wiggle free, and Liv hummed yes in response.

"He worked with Tara?" Amber asked, as if he was the killer but Indy had a feeling, she knew exactly who it was, she just didn't know how to tell everyone.

"He's been stocking my Instagram the last couple weeks." Liv explained as Indy finally wiggled free and stepped down from the bleachers.

Once Vince left, Liv hugged Chad as Indy stared the car down. Indy was the scariest of the group, despite looking the nicest. And being the sweetest.

"Hm... Tara said she fought pretty hard. You've got bruises." Amber pointed out as Chad rubbed him arm, bright purple marks scattered around.

"From football practice." Chad defended himself with a nervous chuckle.

The conversation continued as Indy looked down at her phone. She got a text from Tara.

Tara:

Hey, I'm awake...I'm okay I just really want to see you.

"Tara's awake. She just texted me." Indy said looking up at the group, "You guys coming?"

"I can't, but I'll met you guys later." Liv said disappointed as everyone else was getting up and getting ready to go.

"Bye Livvy." Indy said wrapping her arms around Liv's neck before she left with the others.

"Bye Indiana." Liv laughed as she watched Indy run towards her brother.
