Solivagant - To Wander Alone.
Ivy has been wondering alone for a long time. Ever since she escaped the lab in 1979 when there was a massacre. She always felt bad about leaving her sister there but she couldn't find her before she left and feared sh...

3rd POV:
"Okay, be honest. Uh...You guys understand any of this?" Steve asks them.
Ivy doesn't need to read the article to know what it says. Henry already told her the way he ended up in the lab. How most of his family were killed and he and his father were the only two left alive. He was in critical condition in the hospital and Brenner made it look like he died so he could take him as his mother, Virginia Creel, was going to take him to the mad scientist before she died. He also told her how his father, Victor Creel, was in Pennhurst Sanatorium rotting away, as Henry put it, as he was charged with the murder of his family.
Some of the parts he told her would not be in the article but she knows what it would mainly say.
"No." Lucas agrees with Steve.
"Pretty straightforward." Dustin says.
"Oh, straightforward. Really?" Steve says.
"Well, what's confusing to you?" Dustin asks. "So far, everyone Vecna has cursed has died, except for this old Victor Creel dude, Nancy found. He's the only known survivor. If anyone knows how to beath this curse, it's him." Dustin says.
"Except Henry." Ivy mutters to herself. Not truly knowing why or how Henry survived the attack of Vecna.
"Yeah, that's assuming he was cursed, Henderson, which we don't even know. How can Vecna have existed back int the '50s? It doesn't make sense." Steve says.
"Time moves differently there." Ivy says.
"What?" Dustin asks, curious to what she means.
"In the Upside Down. For some people it can feel like a lifetime. A day or a week but when you are there for more than a month the time starts to fly by. It's not just a feeling, time moves differently there for you if you have been there long enough. I was gone four months but it felt like I was only gone a few weeks." Ivy tells them.
"So you're saying that to Vecna, from the '50s to now, could have felt like a couple of years?" Steve asks.
"Yeah." Ivy says.
"Well, as far as we know, Eleven didn't create the Upside Down. She opened a gate to it. The Upside Down has probably been around for thousands of years. Millions. I wouldn't be surprised if it predated the dinosaurs." Dustin says, agreeing that the rules of the Upside Down are probably different to the rules of ours.
"Dinosaurs? What are we--" Steve says, trying to understand.
"Okay, okay. But if a gate didn't exist in the '50s, how did Vecna get through?" Lucas asks.
"Oh, and how's he getting through now?" Steve asks.
"And why now?" Lucas asks.
"And why then? Just pops out in the '50s, kills one family, and he's like, 'pff, yeah, I'm good.' And poof, he just disappears. Just...gone? Only to return 30 years later and start killing some random teens? No, I don't buy it. Straightforward, my ass. Honestly, Henderson, a little humility every now and then, it wouldn't hurt you."
