We finally reached the hotel we were staying at and everyone seemed to be walking on egg shells around me, especially Colby, he couldn't take his eyes off of me. I think they thought I was just gonna drop dead at any moment. But to be honest, as soon as we left that house I immediately felt better, and all around safer. That might very well have been from Colby holding my hand the whole drive here. (I actually got to sit shotgun this time) I all around did feel so much better though so I wasn't sure why everyone was so cautious.

"We have two rooms available." The lovely receptionist said, almost like an angels voice blessing my ears. Colby and I both let out a sigh of relief at the same time, glancing at eachother and chuckling. His eyes were the most beautiful thing, that with his laugh, made me weak.

"Okay guys," Sam started walking to me and Colby with two room keys. "Kat and (Y/n) will share a room and Colby, you and I are bunking together there's also a pool outside, heated, so all we need is some clips of us swimming and maybe some other games depending on how tired we get." I took the keys from his grasp and smiled. "Thanks Sammy."

He rolled his eyes, but smiled back nonetheless. Kat squealed and grabbed my hand and I caught a lingering stare from a certain blue eyed emo boy before Kat successfully pulled me to our room.

Kat sighed out, "Finally, some peace and quite." She practically moaned as she flopped on the bed. I laughed and jumped on top of her. "Hey!" She giggled along with me.

After we laughed and horsed around for a few minutes we calmed down and sat criss-cross from eachother.

"So when did you finally realize you were in love with Colby?"

"What-"

She sighed out exasperated. "Come on (Y/n) you really didn't think I'd notice that my two best friends were giving eachother to googoo eyes? You guys were practically eye fucking." I gasped in shock, mouth wide open, but I couldn't help the bark of laughter that also came out with it. Her eyes held amusement, but also a shine of seriousness. "Don't try to lie to me."

I sighed and flopped my hands into my lap defeated. "Gods, since forever it feels like." I laughed bitterly, "I mean, at first it was this petty crush based off of attractiveness and what I knew from you and his videos. But after I got to know him, and I mean really get to know him, it was the easiest thing I'd ever felt. It just- it's just felt-"

"Right?" Her voice held the most motherly and soft tone to it, I almost wanted to cry.

"Yeah." My voice broke. "But it won't and can't ever happen."

Her face showed shock and a bit of pain on it. "What do you mean?" Her voice came out as a whisper. What did she mean? Isn't it obvious? "Kat-"

"No, don't give me any bullshit about the fame. Sam and I are together and it's the best decision we've ever made."

"But you and Sam started dating before they became huge. And Colby is like, known as the bachelor. I mean how am I supposed to just butt into that? How would the fans react? They will definitely loose a lot of followers, and don't even get me started on the hate comments."

Kat reached over and gently took my hands. I didn't realize I was digging my fingers into my palms, creating small crescents into the skin. "(Y/n) would the hate comments make you stop loving him?" She asked.
