"Did Nathan say where he was headed? Lucy asks Tim, while they are getting ready for bed.

"No. But you know Nathan, He doesn't really share much about his cases." Tim replies

Tim and Lucys oldest was an Agent with the California Bureau of Investigation. And had a career to be proud of.

Tim and Lucy were certainly proud of their son.

He had always been smart. Always honorable. Always compassionate. He took after his mother in a lot of ways. He was able to connect with people on a level that made him excel in his field.

But there were a lot of things he had seen in his 6 years in the Bureau. Things he wouldn't bring home.

Youngest to graduate high school.

He was recruited at the age of 23.

He had been completing his Master's in psychology. And Sarah was already due with Mathew that spring.

They had been married just shy of a year and he really didn't want to leave his young family, but he wanted to build a life for them and some time away was something they were strong enough to endure.

Sarah moved in with Lucy and Tim and they cared for her while Nathan was away at training.

She had always loved The Bradford's.

Sarah and Nathan had met in summer camp 8th grade and when Nathan came home, he had told his father he met the girl he was going to marry.

Tim laughed at first thinking 14 years old, and in love what a crazy thought!

Tim has felt he was In love exactly 3 times in his life.

Once at 24 years old newly deployed and not knowing what to expect he had just said goodbye to his family and high school sweetheart.

He met a girl over leave when he decided to stay with one of his soldiers and have a chance to see the Carolinas and East coast.

There was beautiful beaches and the women were breath taking. It sounded like fun.

Tim had never had trouble with the opposite sex. He basically could say anything and the girls would melt and he was a hero to boot.

He met a girl the first night they were there at this local carnival that was happening near the beach.

Tim had been in line alone waiting  for the Farris wheel and behind him there was this beautiful brunet standing alone as well.

When the ride had one seat left. He looked to her and asked her to join him.

They spent the entire 2 weeks in this whorl wind romance and when it was time to leave, she promised to write.

The letters came over a 4-month period but then she got distracted with school and pressures at home and he felt her slip away.

It wasn't his first breakup, but it was the one that hurt the most and he felt it must have really meant something.

Even to this day he wonders back hoping she lived a good life and was as happy as Tim was.

When he met Isabel, he had just joined the academy.

She was funny. Like really funny. Tim didn't have the happiest life before her and he had never felt loved to this extent.

It was all very new to them both.

Her home life hadn't been the best and she desperately wanted to be a part of something honorable its why she became a cop.
