Jessica Choi's POV

After a long day of stuttering. Ah, I mean a long day, I went home with Kris and Kal Min, we walked as I said, our house is near.  If you're asking about Baek and Rian, they went out for a date.

Yeah, that's the proof that there is forever. Hahaha! How lovely.

"Guys, I need to stop here now. By the way, this is our house if you dont know." Kal Min said, "And so that means Kris, keep an eye on Jess okay?" she added and narrowed her eyes. Okay.

"Bye Kal Min! See you!" I said and waved at her. "Bye Kal Min." Kris also said.

"Take care! Bye guys!" she opened the gate and went inside.

"I think Kal Min and Chanyeol have mutual feelings." I said and giggled. And also, not to start the awkward silence.

"I know."

As expected, we didnt talk to each other much and just walked.

"Hm. So, do you admire or do you like someone? Like Rian asked last break time?" He said and I looked at him.

"What kind of question is that?" I said and giggled nervously.

Why am I sweating?!

"That's what you always say when we ask you that." He nonchalantly said.

Yeah. If I tell you I like you, everything will never be the same Kris. Permanent is a word but can be an action if you care and truly love someone.

"How about you?" I also asked him.

Im waiting for the answer. I will not be surprised if he wouldnt choose me because I never expected and suspected it to be me.

"I do. But I dont know if she likes me back." He said not even bothered to look, he just walked along.

"Me too."

If only I could tell you. But no, this isn't the right time, nor the right place.

He stopped walking and turned to me and started to laugh.

"What?" I said and furrowed my eyebrows. What's laughable? Is there something on my face,

"Your house is so big but you didnt saw it. Huh?" He said still silently laughing.

"Ah." I said and suddenly he ruffles my hair. "Im so stupid and crazy." I laughed.

I think my heart just started to pound so fast.

"So bye?" He said.

"Okay. Bye!" I said and stared at him walked away until he is out of my sight already.

I went inside our house.

"Good afternoon, mom, dad." I cheered as I saw dad! Yay! He's home!

"I thought you'll be back tomorrow." I hugged him tightly as he laughed.

"And mom, what do we have for dinner later?" I asked putting my arm around her shoulder.

"Your favorite." She smiled. "You look happy huh?" She asked curiously.

"Oh, mom, dont you know me? There wasnt a time Im not happy." I laughed. "Amnesia!" I screamed.

"I know but, a different shade of happiness. Did something happened? Want to share?" She smiled as I sat on the sofa and turned the television on.

I sighed. "No. Nothing much happened." I lied.

"Okay. But who is that boy you are with outside a while ago? Is he your boyfriend?"

What?!

"Mom?! Boyfriend?! Immediately?! No!" I continuously said, or I should say shouted.

She laughed same with dad. "Who knows? What's his name?"

"Kris Wu." My sister suddenly said and closed the front door. "Good afternoon!" She added.

"Kris Wu huh?" I looked at dad.

Now they will have a story to laugh on. But this isn't laughable. I'm serious.

"Honestly mom, no. He is not my boyfriend. He is just a friend." I said focusing on the television.

"Okay. Dinner's ready."

I looked at my wristwatch and it is already six in the evening. Huh. Time flies so fast. And I arrived home late.

I helped mom prepare the table.

And we all sat there except mom because she's still on the kitchen and we are waiting for her to take the dish, she said she will surprise us.

After seconds, she arrived and put down the bowl she is holding.

"Waaaaaah! Pork chop! Ah! Tiramisu!"

Wow. This is yummy.

In the middle of eating, my mom spoke. "How's your day, Anne?"

"Not good, not bad." She shrugged. "I saw you with Kris and Kal Min." She looked at me.

Does she need to repeat it so many times?

I sighed and brought out my phone.

To Anne:
Seriously? Do you have to repeat it again? Now, mom will bomb me with the questions that are the same again.

"Are you sure he's not your boyfriend again Jessica Choi?" My mom said smiling.

"No. Mom he is not."

After saying that, I got guilty. It's better when I'll tell it, there will be no insecurities.

"Okay." I sighed. "I lied. Yes, I like Kris. But please, it's not laughable."

"Yieeee!" They all squeeled including dad.

After that, I got back to my senses. What did I just told them?! Waaah! I know In totally blushing now.

"You two, no boyfriend yet. Unless you tell me." My dad laughed.

"Okay dad." We both said.
