Chapter 12 {Edited}
~ The Date···
Jessica Choi's POV
Im happy right now because this is my 'First' date. And in addition, I'm feeling butterflies around my stomach.
I don't know what to wear, I don't know what to do, I dont know. Hm. I should not mess up this time. But I'm so happy!
I ended up choosing a black knee-high dress and a cream flats and afterwards, I took a bath.
I looked at my phone and its already 12:30. Oh jeez! Thirty minutes left! Kyaa! What should I do?
···
*knock knock*
"Hello?" That must be Kris.
I ran to the door and took a deep breath before I started top open it.
"Hello." I smiled and sat again on the sofa as I gestured him to sit too. "So..." He said and suddenly my dad came. "Hello." He greeted Kris with a smile.
"Uhm. Hello." Kris looked at him and also smiled. "Kris, this is dad and dad, this is Kris." I smiled but that's fake honestly, I'm really nervous. I might get to the point that my knees will shake. Hay.
"Arent you two going now?" My dad asked.
"Uhm. Yes, we're going now." I stood up and smiled.
"Okay. Take care of my daughter okay?" My dad said to Kris and he just nodded and half-smiled.
We both walked out of the house and hailed a cab.
···
"Welcome to Seoul!" Kris sighed then looked at me.
"For the second time," I just laughed. "This place is really beautiful." I laughed and looked at him as he is also looking at me.
I dont even know what to do. But being with Kris makes me happy.
"Uhm. First, Let's go to Dongdaemun?" he asked. "Uhm. Okay. But where it is?"
"Just a little walk."
"Okay," I smiled. "We have time to talk to each other though."
Later on, we started to walk and I feel myself becoming confident and comfortable with him.
"So, why did you transferred here in Korea?" He first asked. "Uhm. Business. To be specific, my dad works on a company as a Vice President. Uhm, and I hate it because he doesn't come home everyday. He is very busy." I answered.
"How about you? You're from China right?" I asked and he nodded. "Same question." I giggled.
"Oh." He looked overwhelmed. "Is s-something wrong?" I worriedly asked and took a step closer.
"Nothing. It's just that..." He looked at me.
Before I could give to a time to talk, I spoke. "It's okay if you're not comfortable on telling it."
"No." He sighed. "Family problems."
"Oh."
Family problems? I dont know how that feels but I know that freaking hurts a lot. I feel sad when I see his smile faded.
"Hey! Cheer up." I said and he looked at me while smiling. "Okay." I read a signboard. "We're here!" I smiled and we continued to walk, found a bench nearby and sat.
Suddenly, a flower vendor walked infront of us and Kris called him. "Can I buy one?" the vendor nodded and he handed Kris a Rose and Kris gave him the money and he left.
"This is for the beautiful girl with me now." He smiled as he handed me the rose.
"Oh! Thank you." Amazed by his action, I smiled and got that from him. "I'll totally keep this. Totally." I laughed. "Thank you again."
Yieee! Im starting to get tingles.
···
"Im really full now." I said and we laughed. "You ate too many deokkbokki." He replied.
"Well, you cant blame me. It's tasty." I said and giggled, then we stopped talking.
"Wait." He came closer to me and I felt his thumbs landed on my cheeks. "Dirt." He laughed.
"Have you ever been to a tower before?"
"What? You talk so-" He pulled me and ran.
"I'm not good at running Kris!" I shouted as he continuously pull me. "Here." he stopped.
We went inside the cab and it drove us to somewhere, I dont know.
···
"Thanks." Kris said to the driver and we went outside and I see a... Tower? Waaaah! This is Namsan Tower!
"May I?" I looked at him and he is smiling handing me his hand.
Is this just a dream? Please, dont ever wake me up. Does this mean something?
"O-okay." I smiled placed my hand above his hand, my other hand is holding the rose he gave me a while ago.
His palm is so soft! Waah! I would like to hold this my entire life! Im not obnoxious. Hahahah!
We started to walk.
But the thing that he is still looking at me. It's making me nervous.
