I couldn't believe my sister was taken away from me, I didn't want to go to war I didn't want to fight for my country, all I wanted was to make sure Cassie was safe as I'm the only one she has.
*Door Knocks*
"Hello Daniel" said Mrs Fielding from next door
"Hello Mrs Fielding, how can I help?" Said Daniel
"I was wondering if Cassie would like to come down to the bakery today some staff are off sick, and I don't have many staff to help out, is Cassie available" Said Mrs Fielding
"No.. She um she's... gone to care all the way in Dartmoor" Said Daniel looking very pale
"Dear God, how come? Mrs Fielding asked"
"Would you like to come in?" Said Daniel"
*Daniel Invited Mrs Fielding in and explained what happened*
"Cassie has gone to care as I have to fight against the Germans in 2 weeks, as my parents have passed away in a fire last week on the way back home and the services say I cannot look after her as I'm forced to join the war and if I don't I'll be arrested" Said Daniel
"I never got told Mr and Mrs Green past away... I mean I heard a rumor about it somewhere but I didn't think it was true, Beth is going to be absolutely devastated, is there anything I can do to help? Said Mrs Fielding
" I appreciate your help Mrs Fielding, but there is nothing you can do as I have absolutely no idea which orphanage in Dartmoor she's went to, all I know is that I miss her so much and I haven't even slept in 3 days because I'm worried she's not safe" Said Daniel
" I understand Daniel, Well let me know if you need anything okay or just give me a call" Said Mrs Fielding"
"Thank you" Said Daniel
*Mrs Fielding leaves*
Without Cassie the house was quiet, I didn't hear her laugh coming from her room, I didn't hear her beautiful piano skills playing, it was just.... Silent. What worried me was how she'll cope in the orphanage, as when Cassie was much smaller she didn't have an opportunity to have an education, but I did, my parents could only afford an education for me as they were working in a business, but when my mother got pregnant with Cassie, things fell apart and we just became poor, I was worried to see how she would cope with school, I would always teach her, no one else. I was bored without Cassie, but I was afraid for her that one day she wouldn't remember anymore or even worse... that'd be well... gone from the earth, and that she'll struggle to make friends.
