"𝐂𝐀𝐍 𝐘𝐎𝐔 𝐏𝐋𝐄𝐀𝐒𝐄 𝐇𝐄𝐋𝐏 me find my phone? Like we're going to be late." Erica huffed as she straightened out the comforter on his mattress for the fourth time. She thought she had tossed it on the bed before she went to the bathroom.

She rarely lost her phone so when she did, it was always so annoying. And the fact that Kaires wasn't helping her look for it was even more annoying.

"No, can you help me find my baby? We gonna be late anyways because I want breakfast" He was clearly in one of those 'moods' that Amani had told her about. He would catch the quickest attitudes ever.

"Bruh what baby do you keep talking about? I need my phone to go to school." She mugged him with her head tilted, almost too focused on rearranging his room than what he was saying.

"I'm 'posed to have a little seedling crawling around. I finished in you three times."

"Kaires. I got my period two days after. We are good, we are safe." She stood up from looking under the bed. She couldn't take him seriously because he was talking nonsense.

Erica wanted to get to school early this morning but Kaires had other plans.

"Whatever." He mumbled as he reached over his nightstand and grabbed his beats, using the little remote to turn off his LEDS in the process.

"We not finna' make this a thing neither. I'm not having sex with you."

"I'm having a panic attack! I need to calm the eff down 'cause I'm having a panic attack." He pretended to be in distress, sarcastically before flattening his facial expression.

He didn't know why he was bothering her, he just was.

"You're so annoying and why did you bleep out the swear like that?"

"You l-literally—Ugh—told me you didn't like when I cussed. Hello. Let's go, I'm ready now." He grunted unintentionally, dismissing the conversation, turning his back to her.
