After Nora pushed Billy away, she heard someone clear their throat. She's relieved when she sees it's Johnny, "Excuse me, man, but can you stop harassing my little sister?" He says, then looks at Nora, "Go downstairs." He orders, and Nora nods but mouths, 'thank you' as she walks by. Johnny nods as she walks past him and watches her go downstairs. After Johnny sees Nora with Jonathan, he turns his attention back to Billy, "Look, I don't know who you are, but if you come in here and harass her again, I'll have you banned. Got it?" He says, and Billy holds his hands up, "Got it. Apologies for just trying to have a conversation with your sister." He says before he walks past Johnny. Johnny keeps his glare on Billy as he remains upstairs and watches him wave goodbye to Nora, who flips him off, which causes Johnny to smirk, "Well, it's a good thing I told Eddie to go get the stuff when I did. Otherwise, that would've been way worse." He whispers to himself as he walks down the staircase.
After Billy leaves and Johnny rejoins Nora and Jonathan, Nora can't get her foot to stop aggressively tapping on the wooden floor. She folds her hands and rests her chin on them as she tries to calm down, "I swear guys are such fucking idiots sometimes." She growls, and Johnny pretends to be offended, "Hey!" He says, and Nora cuts her emerald eyes at him, "Not you, dumbass, or even you, Jonathan," She corrects herself before running her hands through her hair, "I swear I told him three fucking times that I wasn't interested, even though he wanted to know my name." She recalls. Jonathan and Johnny share a look before Jonathan looks at Nora, "Nory, did he try anything besides being persistent about your name?" He asks, and Nora shakes her head and sighs, "He just kept looking at me like I was a piece of ass. I am annoyed because the only guy I want looking at me like that is Eddie...." Nora pauses when she realizes that Eddie isn't in the store, "Wait. Where is he?" She asks before she looks around the store, and Johnny puts a reassuring hand on her shoulder, "When I overheard what was happening upstairs, I told him to take my car to his place to get a few things. He'll be back soon, but don't worry. I'll be here until he returns." He reassures her, and Nora smiles, "Thank you, Johnny." She says as she rests her head against his hand, "You're welcome, Little Bit." He replies, then pinches Nora's cheek, "Ow, you fucking dick!" Nora groans before punching Johnny's arm.
It's not long until Nora and Johnny start hitting each other, and Jonathan laughs as he tries to hold Nora back, "Okay, feisty pants, you need to chill. Otherwise, I'll put you in timeout." He warns, and Nora stops and looks at Jonathan, "Timeout, really, JJ?" She asks with a brow raised. Johnny starts laughing and points at Nora, "Oh, yeah! That's right! Eddie said if you start being mean to me, Jonathan has to put you in timeout!" He chuckles, and Nora glares at him before grabbing the closest thing to her, which is the stapler, "Oh, no, not again!" Johnny groans before jumping over the counter. Before Nora throws it, Jonathan takes it from her hand, "No, no, no," He says as he puts it on the back counter, out of Nora's reach, "Behave, Nora, or I'll show Eddie and Johnny the photo I have of you." He threatens, and Nora's eyes widen, "You wouldn't." She says in disbelief, and Jonathan smirks, "Try me." He taunts.
Nora knew that Jonathan wasn't joking, which made her slowly lower her hands but keep her emerald glare on Johnny, who was cowering behind the counter. The photo in question was of Nora was younger and was a cheerleader for the little league football team. She didn't have a choice of being in it due to Jessica forcing her into it. It still sent shivers down her spine. Nora growls, "I thought I told you to burn that photo from existence, Jonathan." She questions as she looks at him. Jonathan laughs as he lets her go, "And let the first photo of us disappear. Not going to happen, Nora." He corrects, and Nora rolls her eyes. When Johnny sees Nora calmed down, he gets up from his hiding spot, "What photo is it, Byers? I want to know!" He grins while bouncing on his heels. Jonathan shakes his head, "Let it go, Johnny. I only use that as a last line to calm Nora down." He explains, which causes Nora to smirk, "Which means you'll never see it!" She chuckles, then sticks out her tongue but stops when she hears someone's voice. Nora blushes when she knows who it is.
