After pulling into the school parking lot, Eddie parks Nora's car beside Jonathan's while he leans against his. Will was already at the Middle School with the rest of the boys, which Nora was thankful for because she couldn't handle the death stares between Lucas and Eddie again, nor could she deal with Dustin being petty with Eddie. After Nora and Eddie get out of the car, Jonathan smiles at them, "Well, it looks like Eddie didn't keep you up too late, Nory." He teases, and Nora rolls her eyes, "Shut up JJ. I'll have you know that I've been up since five because Johnny thought it would be funny to mess with my alarm clock." Nora scoffs while leaning against her Mustang. Jonathan snickers and scratches the back of his head as he looks away, and Nora narrows her eyes at him, "Jonathan, did you have something to do with that?" She asks, and Jonathan winces, "I might have a small part of it." He answers while pinching two of his fingers together. Eddie shakes his head as he props against Nora's car, "And that's when you should've just lied, Byers." He clarifies, and Nora gives him a look, "No, he shouldn't, Edward," She corrects, then looks at Jonathan, "What exactly did you do, JJ?" She asks, and Jonathan gulps, "I gave Johnny the idea, but I said it as a joke. I didn't think he was actually going do it." Jonathan admits before laughing.

Nora rolls her eyes as she gets off her car and punches Jonathan's shoulder, "Asshole. You know how I am when I don't get enough sleep." She laughs, and Eddie pulls her close to his chest, "You need to behave, Missy." He jokes before kissing Nora's temple. Nora rolls her eyes again as she tries wiggling free from Eddie's hold, but Eddie won't let her go, which makes her huff, "Both of you can kiss my ass." She corrects, and Eddie leans into her ear, "Left or right, Princess?" He whispers, and Nora thumps his head. Jonathan shakes his head and chuckles, "You two are perfect for each other, Nory." He admits, and Nora blushes, "I know he's perfect because he's all mine. You and Steve can't have him." She smirks while resting her head against Eddie's chest. Eddie blows a raspberry, "Like I would want Harrington. I don't think he shares my music taste like JJ here," Eddie jokes, and Nora hits his shoulder, "Ow. What the hell was that for, baby?" He asks, and Nora points at him, "No one calls Jonathan, JJ. I've held that reservation for many years, so you'll have to make a new one, honey." She warns. Eddie rolls his eyes at her, then looks at Jonathan, who shrugs and nods, "Nory has a point, Ed." Jonathan admits, and Eddie growls, "Alright, but you're going to regret taking her side, Jonathan," He warns before wrapping his arm around Nora's shoulders, "Come on. We need to meet up with Wheeler and Harrington." He says while leading the trio away from Nora's and Jonathan's cars.

Nora sees Steve's car parked on the hill, talking with Nancy while she holds a few papers. She leaves Eddie's embrace to knock on the passenger window, to which Nancy smiles, "Hey, Nor, you're just the person I was hoping for." Nancy admits, and Nora raises a brow, "I swear I didn't do it." She chuckles, and Nancy shakes her head, "Very funny, Nor, but anyway, can you help Steve with his piece? I mean, you're taking Honors English, right?" She asks, and Nora nods, "Yeah, I am, but--" She goes to say, but Steve leans closer to the window, "Please, Nor! I'm in desperate need of your help!" He begs, and Nora narrows her eyes at him, then smirks, "Fine, I can help you with it, Stevie." She winks. After Nancy gives the papers to Nora, Nora's eyes widen, "Well, shit," She mutters while flipping them over and shuffling them, "When is this due, Steve?" She asks, and Steve sighs, "It's due tomorrow for early application, but I already told Nancy that I could work with my dad so I can be here for Senior year. That way, Nancy doesn't forget my pretty face." He confesses while looking away, and Eddie snorts, "Yeah, with that hair." Eddie jokes. Nora glares at him, then looks at the papers again, "Look, let me work my magic with this, and I'll even make a cheat sheet on how to fix it so you can rewrite it before tomorrow." She reassures Steve.

While Nora puts the papers away, Nancy looks at her, "Wait. He can't rewrite it tonight." She says, and Nora raises a brow, "What? Why can't he, Nance?" She asks, and Nancy gives her a look, "We have our dinner tonight with Barb's parents." She answers, and Nora facepalms, "Shit. I forgot about that." She whispers. For the past two weeks, Barb's parents, more so her mom, have been wanting the girls to come to dinner, and they had to cancel due to Nora working last week. Nora scratches her head as she leans closer to the window, hoping Eddie doesn't hear her, "I honestly don't think I'm welcomed there due to Hopper being my dad now. Since you know." She says cryptically, and Steve nods, but Nancy shakes her head, "Nor, her mom has been asking for you to come too. She wants both of us there," Nancy confesses as she takes Nora's hand, "Please tell me you'll think about coming at least." She pleads, and Nora sighs, "I'll try my best. I have a lot on my plate right now, with tomorrow being the day for that secret." She admits, to which Nancy nods; however, Steve is confused, "Ew. Nora, can you not talk about that conversation until it's just you and Nance?" He asks.
