One Month Before KCON
It's been a typical day for our girls. Today, the girls were in the practice room, preparing for their first comeback in a month or so. They've been busy busy.
They had just finished dancing to one of their new songs.
"Huff... Huff, this is harder than FEARLESS!" Eunchae exclaimed, leaning back and resting her head on Dani's lap.
"Agreed!" Sakura said.
Dani handed Sakura a bottle of water, who thanked her with exhaustion in her tone.
Dani smiled at her Unnie.
"Good job with the run-through girls!" complimented Dance-Unnie.
"You guys are getting much better with the intro, especially you, Eunchae!"
Dan-bi swiped Eunchae's freshly cut bangs off her forehead and wiped the sweat off her face. "Good job, Manchae! She said proudly.
Dance-Unnie observed the two girls and smiled. Then she looked at the rest of the girls. "Good Job, everyone!" She said. "I'll let you go early to reward you for doing such an amazing job!"
"Yay!" Yun-Jin yelled, then she quickly got up from her spot on the floor and ran to her locker, and the rest of the members followed her lead, eagerly waiting to have a relaxing night at home.
"Dani-Unnie, what are you making for dinner today?" Chaewon asked as she closed her locker.
Dani stopped what she was doing. "That's a good question." She paused for a few seconds, then smiled. "Manchae!" She said.
Eunchae looked at her with confusion.
"Since you did a great job at practice today, how about you pick the meal?" She asks the youngest.
"Yes!" Eunchae celebrated.
"Is that okay with you guys?" She asked the rest of the group, and they all nodded.
Whenever one of the members did something that day, whether it was a photoshoot, solo promotion, or whatever, Dani always ensured their accomplishments were celebrated as a group member. So she would let them pick out any meal they wanted, and she would cook it for them. This simple yet thoughtful gesture always made the girls feel valued and appreciated.
"What do you think, Manchae?" She looked a the youngest
"Soondubu Jjigae!" Eunchae yelled, and the members laughed at the youngest.
"Is that okay with you girls?" Dan-bi asked the rest of the members, and the girls nodded.
Dan-bi smiled and then got into her "eomma mode." "On the way home, we must stop at the store and get tofu." She said to mostly herself. "I don't think we have any at home." She said.
Ever since the debut of her solo track, she has been tirelessly busy with her mini promotion of her song and barely had any time with her members. So the thought of making dinner and hanging out with the girls made Dani very happy.
"Wait a second!" The girls heard Dance-unnie yell before they walked out of the practice room. "Dani, the managers want to talk to you!" She said.
Her mood quickly changed.
"Unnie, what did you do this time?" Yun-Jin grinned.
Now she was panicking. "I can't think of anything I've done wrong recently," she said. After a moment, she turned to Eunchae and apologized. "I won't be able to cook dinner tonight, Manchae. I promise I'll make it tomorrow instead." She said with a slight smile.
