"Let's make a deal," The producer says. "If you eliminate your feelings for Sakura, then the group stays. You will do everything I tell you to distract you from these feelings. If you don't, I promise you or your members will never be in this industry again," he warns.
Dani forgot to breathe. The choice between ruining everyone's dream or being with Sakura...Damn it. Dan-bi closed her eyes, and tears started to form in her eyes.
'I'm sorry...'
...
Well?" Bang Gui Nam, the producer, asks impatiently. "What's your decision?" He asks.
Dan-bi took a deep breath before asking, "So, I just need to hide my feelings for Sakura?"
Gui Nam nods
"What if I don't?" Dani tried to challenge.
"Don't what?" Gui Nam asks with a slight frown.
"If I don't follow everything you say." She says as she gains a little more confidence. She's smart. She has an IQ of 148 for Jihyo's sake. She should be able to find a way to outsmart this guy.
Gui Nam's smile broadened as he walked closer to Dani and leaned closer to her, his eyes glinting with a hint of evil. "You have no idea how much power I have," he stated, his voice laced with confidence.
Internally, it made Dani gagged.
"I will make sure you disappear from the entertainment industry. People will forget you as if you never existed." He whispered in her ear. His words caused her to feel a shiver run down her spine, and her skin crawled with unease. Gui Nam leaned away from her and walked back to his chair.
"Can I think about it?" Dani asked in a quiet tone. She needs to figure something out.
"And have you somehow gotten out of this?" he asked, he chuckled as he shook his head. "If you walk out that door without an answer, then you and your "precious" girls are done. No. More. Le Sserafim."
Dani let out a deep sigh and shook her head in frustration. "I'll do it," she said with a tone of resignation. Her eyes narrowed as she directed a stern gaze towards the man, making it clear that she was unhappy with the situation.
The PD smiled. "Perfect."
"I have one condition," Dani said.
"I bet you do." His smile dropped.
Dani's thoughts raced as she considered the weight of her decision. She paused.
' Am I really willing to give up my career?'
The question hung in the air for a few seconds before she quickly shook her head. She smiled slightly. 'That's a stupid question,' she thought. Then she looked at the producer with new determination. "If I don't follow your rules or whatever. Give all the punishment to me. Don't take it out on the girls." She offered. Yep, that's better. "They have worked so hard to be here. You would be making a big mistake if you broke up such an amazing group," she offered.
Suddenly, a thought came into Dani's mind that reminded her of her conversation with Yun-Jin: 'I am willing to sacrifice everything for you girls.' She smiled slightly at the memory.
It's true. To make them happy, she is will to take a step back for them to move forward.
"So, if you don't follow everything I tell you, you will quietly leave the group with no questions," Gui Nam asked.
