Dani's gaze remained fixed on the blank expanse of the hospital room wall, her mind a whirlwind of conflicting thoughts and emotions. Around her, the room buzzed with conversation as her family and friends engaged in their own discussions, their voices blending into a cacophony of noise that seemed to echo endlessly in her ears.

Her parents' voices, filled with concern and worry, washed over her like a distant murmur as they spoke quietly to her sister, their words laden with unspoken fears and uncertainties. Meanwhile, her friends huddled together, their voices a comforting hum as they shared whispered conversations, their attempts to distract themselves from the gravity of the situation palpable in the air.

Across the room, Daisuke and Ji-Yeong conversed earnestly with the doctor, their voices low and urgent as they sought answers and reassurance. But Dani couldn't focus on their words, her attention consumed by the haunting presence of Bang Gui Nam in her thoughts.

Every mention of his name sent a shiver down her spine, causing her to tense up involuntarily as she clamped her mouth shut, unwilling to let slip the tangled web of secrets that threatened to unravel around her. She knew she couldn't afford to involve him now or ever.

Yes, she was in the hospital, but the mere thought of implicating Bang Gui Nam in her current predicament sent a surge of panic coursing through her veins. After all, he couldn't possibly have anything to do with it... could he?

Her memories of their conversation were hazy at best, fragmented pieces of a puzzle that refused to fit together. She remembered talking to him, but beyond that, everything was a blur, a blank canvas upon which she could paint no clear picture.

Lost in her own thoughts, Dani struggled to make sense of the tangled threads of her reality, her mind a whirlwind of confusion and doubt as she grappled with the unsettling truth that threatened to unravel the fragile fabric of her existence.

The clamor of voices and the flurry of activity in the hospital room became overwhelming for Dani, like a cacophony of chaos threatening to engulf her. She finally reached her breaking point with a heavy sigh born of frustration and exhaustion.

"Guys!" Dani's voice rang out, cutting through the din with a sharpness that demanded attention.

All eyes turned towards her, a mixture of concern and apprehension reflected in their gazes as they waited for her to speak.

"What is it, Dani?" Daisuke's voice was gentle, his concern palpable as he addressed her.

Dani hesitated momentarily, her mind racing with thoughts and emotions. "Can we... Can I just have a few minutes alone?" she asked, her voice tinged with a pleading note.

"Of course, sweetie," Mrs. Kang replied, her tone soft and understanding as she moved to usher everyone out of the room.

The room slowly emptied with a series of murmured assurances and gentle gestures, leaving Dani alone with her thoughts.

"Manchae!" Dani called out to the youngest girl in the group, her voice soft but insistent.

Eunchae turned towards her, her expression a mosaic of concern and curiosity as she approached Dani.

"Yes, Dani-Unnie?" Eunchae's voice was hesitant, uncertain of what to expect.

"Come here for a second," Dani said, patting the spot beside her on the bed.

Eunchae obeyed, her movements slow and cautious as she settled beside Dani, her eyes filled with unspoken questions.

"Manchae, I'm not fragile," Dani began, her voice firm but gentle. "Just sit with me."
