Dani woke up with a killer headache. She exited the couch and shuffled over to her desk for an aspirin. She's a mess. Clothes everywhere, food wrappers all over the floor. Empty beer cans hanging around. Since Dani and Sakura talked about what Dani dubs the incident, she has been camping out in her studio. Is Dani avoiding Sakura? Yes, she is. Is she avoiding Bang Gui Nam? Yes, she is. Is she pushing her feelings for Sakura deep down? Well, the jury is still out on that one.
Dani looked around the studio and let out a frustrated sigh. She got up from the couch and decided to clean it up. Maybe—just maybe—she'd be able to make some music if the studio was clean. So she spent a few minutes cleaning up all of the trash, putting clothes in her duffle bag, and throwing it by the door.
After that, she sat at her computer desk, opened her music software, and stared at the screen. She got nothing. Oh! She could plan for Eunchae's birthday! Forgetting about music, Dani chewed on the end of a pencil deep in thought. "What would Manchae want to do for her birthday?" she thought aloud. Dani could ask Kyuujin and Garam if they could hang out. Maybe Dani could take them to Everland. Eunchae's wanted to go for a while, but Dani's been so busy that she keeps putting it off.
Dani smiled proudly at her plan, grabbed her phone, and called Haewon.
"Hello?" The voice from the other line asks.
"Hi Haewonnie!" Dani greets cheerfully.
"Hi, Dani-Unnie! How are you?" Haewon asks.
"Good!" Dani said. "So I was wondering if I could steal your Maknae on the 11th?" She asks. "Eunchae's birthday is coming up, and I'm planning a whole day for her, so I thought I'd invite her friends," she explains.
"Sure Unnie! Kyujinnie can come!" Haewon said. "You know she loves hanging out with her," she said.
"Great! Thank you!" Dani said. "She'll probably spend the night at the dorm," she added.
They talked briefly, then both said goodbyes and hung up the phone.
Dani smiled at herself, proud that she had devised her plan. Then, she shut down everything in her studio and headed for dance practice.
...
The rest of the Le Ssserafim were stretching in the dance studio while waiting for Dani and Dance-Unnie.
"Do you think Dani-Unnie slept in the studio again?" Chaewon asks Sakura next to Her. "She's been doing that for a few days now," she adds, keeping glancing at the door.
"C'mon, Chaewon. You know how Dani is with her music," Sakura said. "Once she has that inspiration, she doesn't stop till it's gone." She added, "Besides, she probably has other things on her mind."
Chaewon looked at her weirdly. "What are you talking about?" she asks. Then she realized. "Are you talking about the banquet? You're still not over that?" She asks. "That was a week ago."
Sakura shrugged. "She didn't have to put her hand around Dani's waist," she mumbled.
Chaewon rolled her eyes and turned her attention to Eunchae. "So, are you excited about your birthday?" she asked.
Eunchae shrugged. "Not really," she said. "We're busy that day with schedules." She said this with a bit of disappointment.
"Manchae, you don't think Dani-Unnie planned you a great birthday?" Yunjin asks.
"She's been busy with her music, and I don't want her to stop because of me," Eunchae admits.
"Awe.." Kazuha said. "Our Manchae is growing up!" She cooed.
