You Die Together

Calum

You together with your boyfriend and his bandmates were on your way home after a night of partying downtown. Everyone clearly had fun and as all of you cruised home, all 5 of you were cramped up inside a car you rented specially for this night. Calum was driving while you sit beside him, leaving the rest sit at the back singing or rather shouting random songs you don't even know exists.

"Michael almost kissed me back there holy shit why would you do-" Luke rambled on.

"No I didn't Luke now will you shut up?"Michael yelled, and when he does, it feels like he's talking to another person from another planet and it all made everyone flinch.

"Why do you have to shout so loud? Jesus we're literally inches from you!" Ashton scolded him. They started bickering while you laughed just hearing them playfully bantering about the most random things. Calum continues to drive, completely sober, while keeping a small smile on his face. This is how it always has been for the past years. Happy memories to keep, memories to tell for the next generation.

Calum has been thinking of proposing to you for the past 3 months and everything was well prepared; the ring, the venue, literally everything and all that is left is your sweet 'yes!'.

He looks at you sweetly, as you look back at him with the same loving affection. He stops at the stop light, being the only vehicle on the road since it's 2am. Things started to calm down when one by one the boys at the back fell asleep, leaving you two awake.

"It clearly says stop, Calum." You say as he releases the break, seeing it pointless of waiting for the stoplight to turn green when nobody is clearly passing by.

"Cal stop!" You protested, seeing a pair of headlights from his side, coming closer by the minute.

"Relax babe there's no police at this hour" he says, not seeing the huge truck that was about to crash them.

Loud screeching noises were heard, pieces of metal clashing with one another. Calum's car tumbled twice, your head hitting the headboard, shards of broken glasses pierced your skin. Seconds; you can't tell, not a single noise was heard. Your vision was hazy, breathing patterns are shaky. A sharp pain pounds through your head, a small movement does more damage to you. As much as it hurts, you willed yourself to look beside you to see your boyfriend barely alive.

"C-cal" you cried, as you take in his appearance; a bloody mess. You shakily reached out for his hand, running your thumb around his palm until you took a long breath and closed your eyes as one final strong pain shook your body.

"Breaking News: Bassist of the band 5 Seconds of Summer Calum Hood and girlfriend Y/N Y/L/N dead on spot after tragic car accident. Other members Luke Hemmings, Ashton Irwin and Michael Clifford are in critical condition at the St. James Hospital."

"Ashton stop it oh my god!" you giggled, as he took off, you following close behind. Ashton has proposed for a game where whoever gets in the house first will have the entire tub of chocolate ice cream for themselves. Knowing that one way or another that he will give in and share it, you didn't gave much effort in running than Ash did.
