Chapter 7

As Carl and I were walking around we run into three kids that are about our age, two boys and one girl. "You guys must be new here!" One of the boys says coming up to Carl and I. "Yea I'm Carl and this is Julia." Carl says putting his arm round me. "Well I'm Ron, and that's Mikey and Enid." Ron says. "Nice to meet you" I say to Enid, holding my hand out for her to shake. She doesn't say anything back to me, except she just turns around and walks the other way. "Ghees what's her problem?" I ask putting my hand back down. "It's alright just give her some time, she's not used to new kids out age, it's always just been us 3." The other boy who goes by the name of Mikey says. "Do yous wanna come back to my place?" Ron asks. I take a quick look at Carl and he nods his head. "Why not" Carl and I reply.

Mikey, Ron, Carl and I all walk back to Ron's place. We walk through the door and go upstairs to what must be Ron's room. When we go into his room Enid is already sitting it there. "Nice room bro" Carl says sitting down on Ron's bed. "Hey Carl I think I might go for a walk actually" I say. I feel uncomfortable cause I can tell Enid is staring at me. "You sure Jules, want me to come with you?" Carl asks. "No no I'll be fine don't worry." I say giving him a look which shows that I'm comfortable. "Alright please be safe" he says getting up and walking over to me. "I will" I reply. We do our handshake and I leave to go explore the rest of Alexandria.

Carl's POV:

"You like her don't you" Ron says looking at me watch Julia leave the room. "What? What makes you think that?" I ask sitting back down on his bed. "Bro it's so obvious you like her! Your always checking up on her, putting your arm around her, making sure she's two steps behind you." Mikey says. "We're just friends honestly" I reply giving them a gentle nudge. "Well she def likes you then" Enid says from the corner of the room. "Butt out Enid, you aren't apart of this conversation" Ron says turning around to glare at Enid. "I'm just saying! You can tell by the way she looks at him" Enid says getting up. "Anyways I'm gonna go for a walk. Bye guys" Enid says getting up and walking to the door. "Bye Enid" Ron and Mikey say. I don't say anything cause all I can think about is Julia....

Julia's POV:

When I leave Ron's house I decide to go find Maggie. I'm walking around Alexandria when I see Enid walking towards the fence, Deanna said the we aren't to go near the fence so I decide to follow her but keep a low profile so she doesn't see me. As I'm following her I see her go through a hole in the fence which looks like it's been cut on purpose. Once she goes through it I run down to the door like hole and go through it too.

I follow Enid for about 10 minutes when I hear her scream. I run towards the scream and I can see her surrounded by two walkers. I pull my knife out of my pocket and kill the walkers. I he'll her up and she dusts herself off. "What are you doing out here?" She asks looking me up and down. "I followed you" I reply cleaning my knife then putting it back into my pocket. "Ghees that's a bit weird isn't it" The cocky ness in the voice makes me want to stab her. "Your welcome by the way, for saving your dumb ass" I reply turning my back and walking back towards the fence.

"You like him don't you" Enid yells out as I'm walking. I stop in my tracks and turn around. "Why do you care?" I reply. "Because I like him" Enid says putting her hands on her hips. "Ms gurl you don't even know him, you haven't even spoke to him" I say laughing. I turn around and keep walking back to Alexandria. "Well he's mine just so you know" She yells out! "Heh we'll see about that!" I yell back and as I'm walking away I stick the middle finger up at her.
