Chapter 19

"I can't be a mum, not yet atleast. I'm too young" I say pacing around the room in circles. "Julia calm down it's going to be ok!" Maggie replies. "How am I going to Carl? What if he dumps me when I tell?" I say my pacing getting faster. "Julia! Listen to me he's not gonna break up with you, he said he loves you with his whole heart and that he wasn't going anywhere so why would he break up with you now after yous have been together for almost 2 years!" Maggie says getting up and grabbing my arms arms to stop me from pacing. "Ok so tomorrow I'll take Carl to our favourite spot and I'll tell him there" I answer. "We're gonna get through this together Jules I promise!" I give Maggie a hug and all the nerves go away. "Oh and Maggie can I ask you a favour?" I ask letting her go. "if course" she replies. "Do you think you could tell my dad cause I don't think it's a good idea if I tell him." I say giving her the look as in he'll probably kill me. "Yea I got it" She replies. That night I went to sleep thinking how I'm gonna tell Carl tomorrow.

The next morning I wake up and get ready, I head out of the hut and see Carl walking around with Judith I can't help but smile and see how amazing he is with kids. "Look who's that!" Carl says to Judith as I walk up to them. "Hello gorgeous girl" I reply taking her out of Carl's hands and giving her a hug. "Wanna go for a walk with me to our favourite spot?" I ask turning to Carl. "Ofc, I wouldn't say no to that" he replies kissing my cheek.

We take Judith to Rick so then we could go to our spot, we give her a hug goodbye and walk to our favourite spot. When we get there we sit down and watch the sunset. After a couple minutes of silence I finally decide to break the news to him. "Carl I need to talk to you about something" I say turning my body to look towards him. "Whats up hun" he replies. "So I honestly don't really know how to tell you this and I'm scared when I do tell you your gonna leave me" I get up and start pacing around cause I'm scared. "Just tell me Jules" he replies getting up. "I'm pregnant" I stop pacing and look at him to see what his reaction is.

"Your kidding right" he says slowly walking towards me. "I'm sorry Carl" I reply looking down. "I'm gonna be a dad! I'M GONNA BE A DAD" Carl yells, I look up and see Carl jumping up and down. He runs into me a wraps his arms around me. "Your not mad?" I ask "Of course not, I'm more excited then anything" Carl replies. We stand there looking at each other when I see something coming up behind Carl. "CARL LOOK OUT!" I yell. But it was too late he had already been bit. I push the walker off of him and kill it. "Carl come on we need to get you back to the others!" I say I pull him up and put his arm over my shoulder and drag him back to the others.

Maggie's POV:

I see Julia and Carl walking off to go to their favourite spot and thats my que to tell Daryl the news, I find him working in the shed. "Hey Daryl, can I talk to you for a second?" I ask. I pull up a chair and sit down next to him. "What's up?" He asks putting his tools down. "Umm so last night Julia threw up out of nowhere" "Is she ok?" Daryl asks cutting me off. "yea she's fine she told me that it has been happening for ages and the only way that could be happening is if she was pregnant, so I asked her when was the last time she got her period and she said almost 2 months ago. So we went back to our hut and I gave her a pregnancy test to take and after she took it we waited for the results to come back and they came back as positive" I say.

I look at Daryl's face and you can tell he's shocked, his mouth was open and his eyes were wide. "So my little girls pregnant?" He asks. "Yea just please don't be mad at her!" I reply. "I'm not mad, I'm actually happy to be honest" he says. I breathe a sigh of relief and we sit there in silence when we here someone screaming. "HELP SOMEONE PLEASE!" And i recognise the voice straight away. It's Julia.....
