Chrys was buzzing with excitement when she woke the next morning. She giggled gleefully as she rolled over to face her groggy familiars, "Good morning, Nox! Mort!" she chirped, kissing their heads lightly before rolling out of bed. Both creatures huffed in amusement as they watched their mistress bounce around the room.

Since she was already packed, Chrys took her time going through her hygiene routine. After giving herself an extra five minutes in the shower, Chrys dried off and dressed in thick wool leggings, an emerald green sweater dress with a black belt around the waist. She tugged on a pair of black knee-high boots over her grey wool socks, then grabbed her messenger bag and winter cloak.

She was only taking some clothes and what she knew she'd use every day, like journals, books, and similar items. It was a bit pointless to pack everything up when she'd be back in two weeks.

Humming, Chrys did a once-over look around her room, making sure she had everything she needed before securing everything she'd leave behind. She couldn't thank Narcissus enough for the magic lessons before school. Then she collected Noxus and Mortifer off the bed and trotted out of the room. She tugged her door shut and moved to leave when she felt something odd.

It felt like something was trying to connect to her magic, similar to her bond with Noxus and Mortifer, but different.

"Chrys?" Noxus piped up softly, lightly nosing her cheek, "Is everything okay?"

Mortifer, who she was currently holding like a toddler would a large plushie, craned his neck back to look up at her. Chrys hummed but didn't say anything as she adjusted Mortifer so she could hold him one-handed. She let her magic flow a bit more freely as she stepped closer to her door and placed her palm flat against the polished mahogany.

The moment she had it was like the world around her melted away, only to quickly be replaced by another. She found herself standing in Dumbledore's office, hidden in a dark corner by a painting she couldn't recall being there before. Though, judging from her position, she assumed it must've just been obscured.

It was a long, horizontally positioned rectangle portraying four adults. Two men and two women sitting at a long table. One of the men was tall, around 6'5" with long ebony hair and bright emerald eyes, reminding Chrys vaguely of her brother, he was dressed in expensive, but dated, black robes, accented with silver and green. Around his neck was a gold pendant with a green gem, an S engraved beneath the gem.

He was gazing fondly at a shorter brunet man who appeared to be around 5'10". Bright amber eyes were alight with mischief as he talked animatedly with the taller man. He has dressed in a loose cream tunic with the sleeves rolled up, revealing his buff physique, baggy black pants and well-worn brown boots. A silver sword encrusted with rubies was resting at his hip.

On the tall man's left was where the women were. A short, stout woman with tight ginger curls tied back in a bun was dressed in a cream dress with a tan corset stained green and brown from nature. She was giggling behind a golden goblet, silver eyes alight with love and amusement. She was lounging comfortably on a slimmer woman with waist-length black ringlets and piercing blue eyes. It was barely noticeable, but when she turned her head, a thick streak of white hair could be seen running from the base of her skull down. Just like Chrys and Hadrien, only it was hidden. She was dressed in blueberry robes accented in polished bronze with a black and yellow shawl draped over her shoulders. Her arms were wound loosely around the other woman.

The woman in blue was the one to notice her, she smiled assuringly before nodding at something to the left. Chrys furrowed her brows but looked where she was directed and found Dumbledore sitting at his desk, lent forwards with his hands clasped together.
