Severus and Remus were quiet as they exited Gringott's. The former was carrying a soundly sleeping Harry in his arms, while the latter was holding Chrys' hand. When the blocks had been removed, her repressed memories surfaced so vague memories were now clear meaning she not only remembered her 'Papa Moony' but also Halloween, 1981.

With Chrys' memories and James and Lily's wills as evidence, Severus and Remus planned to get Sirius released. They were also working on getting the Dursleys for child abuse. But for now, they would focus on school supplies shopping.

"Sev? What took you so long?" Narcissa asked with concern, which only grew as she took in the physical changes on Chrys and Harry.

The potions master sighed, "We got Chrys and Harry's inheritance tests done. Chrys also took the opportunity to look over bank statements and have their parent's wills unsealed and read." he explained quietly to not draw attention, "We will discuss more after shopping is finished."

Narcissa nodded a slight frown on her lips. Pushing her thoughts back, she smiled and gently changed the subject, "Instead of Madam Malkins, we're taking the children down Starlight Alley to my favourite boutique. Seraphina's provides much better quality robes with more variety of material."

Severus nodded, "That's fine. We'll need to stop by 'Oculus' for Chrys and Harry first."

Lucius grimaced, "It's a miracle they can function at all with how horrid their sight is."

"Indeed." Severus agreed, "Lupin, will you be joining us?"

"If you'll have me, I'd appreciate it." Remus smiled shyly.

Narcissa giggled, as she noticed Chrys clinging closer to Remus, "I don't think you have much of a choice. Chrys doesn't seem too keen on the idea of you leaving." The younger witch gained a dusting of pink across her cheeks as she tightened her hold on Remus' hand. She looked so small compared to the werewolf.

The female Malfoy clapped her hands, "It's settled. Let's get going, we don't want to waste any sunlight."

Eagerly, the woman led the group through Diagon, earning fond eye-rolls from both Lucius and Severus. Abraxus and Mattheo occasionally glanced back at Chrys and Harry, not so subtly hiding their concern for the two, much to the adults' amusement. It was clear the boys didn't trust Remus just yet, especially not with the little redhead. It seemed they were already attached to Chrys and Harry. The boys continued to not-so-secretly glower at Remus, even as they entered 'Oculus'.

"Welcome!" a cheerful young witch greeted, "I'm Valorie, you can call me Lorie, how can I help you today?"

Severus gently shook Harry awake as he spoke, "We need two eye exams done, I suspect they have photophobia."

"Patients' names?" Lorie asked, setting up two clipboards with sheets of paper. Severus smiled softly as Harry released a kitten-like yawn and pouted.

"Chrysanthemum and Hadrien Potter-Black."

Lorie smiled and nodded, "I just need you to fill out these two forums and we'll get started with the exams. Who would like to go first?"

Chrys reluctantly released Remus' hand and timidly stepped forwards, "I will."

Lorie's smile was bright as she addressed Chrys, "Alrighty, follow me please, hun. We'll be right back, go ahead and have a seat while you fill those out." She led Chrys to another room in the back and had Chrys take a seat.

"I'm gonna have you look through this device and read off letters for me. If you can't see them clearly, let me know and I'll adjust them until it's clear. Okay?"

"Okay."

Lorie put the refractor to Chry's face and adjusted it until she could see clearly. They tested her eyes together and individually, reading letters aloud and testing light sensitivity. Lorie jotted the results down in her patient notes as they went along until the routine exam was finished.

"All done, hun. Let's go back out."

Chrys nodded and followed Lorie out. She climbed into the seat between Remus and Severus as Lorie took Harry to the back for his exam. She yawned cutely and snuggled into the werewolf's side. Remus chuckled softly, wrapping his arm around the girl. "Go ahead and take a nap, Bambi. I'll wake you when Harry comes back." he urged softly, earning a muttered, "Okay." from the girl.

Severus hummed, "Seems I was right about the photophobia."

"Is it permanent?" Lucius inquired.

Narcissa chimed, "Not always. If this is caused by a lack of light exposure they'll recover over time. But if this is caused by an injury to the eyes or brain, then it may be permanent."

"We'll get tinted lenses in the meantime and if it gets better we'll switch to regular lenses." Severus decided, glancing at the sleeping redhead to check on her. Nightmares were frequent for her so peaceful sleep was rare for her.

Soon Harry returned and true to his word, Remus woke Chrys up. She sat up, rubbing the sleep from her eyes as she yawned. Lorie and Narcissa cooed at the sight before the former regained her professionalism. "I've got their prescriptions right here. They are photophobic, so I've taken the liberty to add the tint to the lenses for comfort in the rune scheme." she explained, "They'll automatically adjust from indoor to outdoor as well. I just need Chrys and Harry to pick out frames and we'll get the lenses fitted."

"We'd like for them to have two pairs, just in case one gets lost or damaged beyond repair," Severus stated. Lorie nodded, "That's fine. Anything you want to add to the lenses?"

"Anti-fog, scratch resistance."

"Got it." she smiled, then turned to Chrys and Harry, "Go ahead and pick out two frames each, okay?"

"Okay," Chrys murmured, taking Harry's hand and leading him over to the wall of frames. Remus went over as well to help if they needed something from a higher shelf.

Harry picked out a black wire frame with round eye pieces and a similar pair in silver. Chrys picked black Hudson-style and silver polygonal wireframes. Once their choices were made, Lorie warded the lenses and set them into the frames.

"All done!" Lorie exclaimed, "Ready to try them out?"

Harry was excitedly bouncing on his feet as Chrys nodded. Lorie let them pick which pair they wanted to wear and put the other pairs into protective cases. The siblings slid their new glasses on and marvelled at how the world went from a painfully bright fuzzy blur of blobs to a comfy crystal clear focus.

Instantly the two looked at each other, their awe visible as they finally saw each other clearly for the first time. Gleeful giggles left them. Severus, Lucius, and Remus smiled at the scene as Narcissa beamed. No those are not tears, she just had something in her eyes. Mattheo and Draco looked at the two starstruck with Abraxus snickering at their expressions. His taunt of "Someone's got a crush." went unheard by the Potters, and earned him a whack from the other boys.

Lorie handed Severus two bags. Inside each was Chrys and Harry's backup glasses and two protective cases, as well as small servicing kits. The potions master paid her before ushering the group out as Lorie had another customer.

"Have a nice day!" Lorie cheerfully called out.
