Almost two months since I returned, I finally adjusted. I can now make time for other things and hangout often.
The day of the outing, I drove us to the resort which was owned by the Escamilla's, Veronia's family. We were lead to a house beachfront,
"Uhm guys, there might be a little problem" Veronia spoke and apologetically smiled, I am feeling anxious with it
"And what could be that problem?" Sam then spoke looking at her,
"The six bedroom houses already got reserved before we get to acquire an accommodation. So, we only have three bedrooms, all have king sized bed. So I guess two persons in each room?" Veronia replied,
I turn to look at Sam while raising my brows, she just let out a chuckle
"It's just fine. We cannot do anything about it" Tyson spoke
I widen my eyes at Sam, but she's just laughing there. She won't say I'll share a room with Zariah, will she?
"Okay. Then I'll be with Laverne. You choose your roommate" Veronia spoke,
Sam giggled again and looks at me, I just sighed
"I'll be with Tyson" I spoke, I won't let her say anything
Tyson was a bit surprised by my words, but I signalled at her for help,
"Then I'll be with Sam. It's fine right?" Zariah then spoke as she looks at Sam, I felt a relief
"Yeah, it's fine" Sam replied, I looked away and saw Tyson just sighing
"Okay. Then let's bring our bags on our rooms" Veronia happily spoke after settling the roommates,
We went upstairs with our bags, we chose our rooms. Laverne and Veronia was taking a rest first, Sam and Zariah stayed at the room. Me and Tyson just placed our bag on the floor, I sit on the chair while she lay down on the bed,
"Is it fine if I took you away from Sam?" I asked sudden,
I slowly turn my head at her, she looked flustered but covered it with a scoff.
"It's fine. Sometimes it's good to have time away from one another. And if I was her roommate, she would just pick out a fight." she replied but ended it with a sigh,
"Why do you like to fight when you got a chance?" I asked out of nowhere, just curious
she let out a small chuckle, shrugging her shoulder
"I like to tease her cause she teases me back too. Sometimes she gets mad and will ignore me for hours. But, those fights rather made me happy every single time. I wasn't afraid that one day it will just stop, cause I know that it won't" she replied, and wore that meaningful smile.
"Like what they said 'our love language'" she added, we both let out a chuckle
"Then maybe I can say you want Sam's attention" I spoke, she nodded
Maybe my hunch was right,
"Then why do you flirt with other girls? Why do you make it look like you cared more about flirting with girls than to put all your attention to one person?" I spoke, just trying to fish out some news
she took a deep breath and look away for a moment, I looked away and put my gaze at the beach view from the window,
"Yes, I won't deny that everytime we're at a party or events with crowded people, I always excuse myself to flirt. But do you know that I'm just using that as an excuse?" she spoke, I nodded my head
