We're here at the cafe. Our friends wanted to hangout so we're here sitting together.

"Where's Kayden? I thought she wants to talk to us?" Sam spoke impatiently,

and yes, about that, Kayden also want to talk to them and explain.

"Maybe she's on her way" Laverne replied,

"Did you two talked?" Sam spoke and stare at me, I raised my brows acting innocent

And then, Kayden arrives.

"Hi, thank you for waiting" she spoke and take a seat, the usual.

"Okay, I know you were thinking that I have a girlfriend. But the truth is, I don't have" she spoke directly, right after she sits.

And eyes were on her,

"You kissed her" Tyson spoke, eyes almost piercing

"I didn't" Kayden defended,

"It was just the angle, and I swear nothing happened. She's just a stranger. She wants my number but I didn't gave her, I run away" Kayden explained,

I'm just chilling here on the side, I already heard it so.

"I swear, guys. I'm still single" Kayden spoke, and they all have strange looks at her

makes me want to laugh,

"And I didn't get to hangout with you cause I'm finishing works so I can have less works after the getaway" Kayden added,

they all seem convinced with that, knowing Kayden was a workaholic.

Their expressions turns calm,

"Okay, I believe it" Veronia spoke then stop with the suspicious stares,

"She sounds convincing" Laverne spoke,

which made me giggle actually,

"You can trust me. That girl is just a stranger and we don't have any relationship or anything." Kayden spoke,

she's really explaining, almost begging to believe her. It's cute.

"I'll forgive you" Sam then spoke, I look at them

"Cause Zariah seems to not mind it now" Sam added, I was flustered

Was she staring at me the whole time?

They all turn at me,

"You were a bit mad that night, Zariah. And the following days, you're in a bad mood. Then now you're okay" Veronia spoke, narrowing her eyes at me

I let out a nervous chuckle. Why is the attention at me now?

"So, you forgive me now? Are we all good?" Kayden spoke to divert the attention to her,

And it did helped, their attention was on her now.

"Yes. And we're sorry if we doubted you" Laverne spoke,

"It's fine. At least I get to explain to you guys" Kayden spoke with a smile,

she's helping me get out of the hot seat, and I'm so thankful.

She glances at me and smiled,

"So, uhm have you ordered?" she asked,

"Nope. But let's do now" Laverne spoke,

So we ordered, they just talked while waiting. Glad that the attention wasn't at me.

As we were eating, Kayden places a tissue near my plate, she always does that. And even in the middle of having our meals, she's attentive to me which I find so sweet.
