I'm already here outside the house, waiting for the others. Today's our getaway.
I was staring at the road, to see their arrival.
A car stopped, dropping off Laverne and Veronia.
"Good morning, Kayden. We're a little early." Laverne spoke, carrying their bags
I helped them put it in the car,
"Hope you got some sleep" I spoke,
"We did. Anyway, Zariah will be with Sam and Tyson. They're on their way" Laverne replied,
We lean on the car, while waiting. It's still early, and they got plenty of time before the agreed time.
Few minutes later, we're complete. All settled.
"Let's go." Tyson spoke,
"Uh-huh, but we won't question why you're wearing couple jackets and caps anyway" Sam spoke, and she's eyeing me and Zariah.
I noticed that we're almost wearing the same style, I giggled.
actually, Zariah's wearing my clothes.
"It's just clothes, and Zariah's wearing Kayden's clothes tho" Tyson spoke, she noticed.
I just chuckled, we get inside the car. Zariah's on the passenger seat.
We set on our way,
"What's your status?" a sudden question from Laverne,
were we obvious that they're questioning this now?
I looked at the rear view mirror and saw her looking at me, I acted innocent
"Uhm, who are you asking?" I asked, and she smirked
"I'm asking Sam and Tyson" she replied then looks back,
I let out a small laugh, she's teasing. I glanced at Zariah and she's hiding her giggles,
"You know we're dating" Sam spoke, answering Laverne's question, and she looks confused
"No fights?" Veronia asked, looking back at them
"Sometimes we do" Tyson replied, then smiles,
"But, just for a little time. Cause I can't take it when we have fights for long" she added,
Teases filled the car.
They might bicker a lot, still they love each other. And Tyson lessen her teases towards Sam since they got official. She can't take it when they fight for few hours, she always calls me and ask advice. Sometimes I want to laugh but I remember that I was like that too few years ago.
"Here's a question. Who do you think will gonna marry first from us?" Sam asked, staring at each one of us
For me, it's Laverne and Veronia. No doubts.
"I think...me and Veronia" Laverne replied,
See. Even her knows it.
"Are you engaged?" Sam asked, obviously teasing
"Not yet" Veronia replied,
but deep inside she was hoping. I can see it.
Then I saw Laverne smiling, hmmm, maybe she got a plan sooner.
"No one's gonna propose in this trip, right? Or someones planning to?" Sam spoke, she even looked at the front
I'm not gonna propose. We're not even official yet.
"Kayden won't cause she's single and Zariah is too. I wonder if Laverne will propose" she spoke,
I hide my giggles, well yeah, it's partially true that Zariah and I are single.
