"Hey, what's with the family dinner?" Lauris asked as he take a seat across me, we're at a restaurant for dinner. Zariah's beside me

"I don't know. Dad called me and told me to bring Zariah with me for dinner. There's no announcement to be made right?" I spoke as I turn at him,

This won't be a dinner with the Ainsworth's, right?

"Don't know. I was called suddenly too." he replied

"Is there an incoming event? My brother was also called for this dinner?" Zariah spoke,

we shrugged our shoulders, don't know why they called us.

"Let's see later. Probably between the Ainsworth's and Monteverde's" Lauris spoke,

Nevan was called too, so probably.

Few minutes later, Nevan arrived and took a seat beside Lauris.

"You know where our parents?" Lauris asked, looking at him

"They're on their way. I wonder what's with the sudden dinner" Nevan replied,

I hold Zariah's hand,

"Where's your fiancee's?" I asked, cause they're alone

"They went home for a while. And soon, we'll meet the parents so wish us luck" Lauris replied flashing a smile,

He does look happy tho,

"Are you sure about them tho?" Zariah asked,

"Well, I am. She's kind and...I find it comfortable around her" Nevan spoke, his smile was genuine

That's good to hear.

"She's kind and polite. And she also have the charm that will make you drawn into her" Lauris spoke,

he's speaking like he already fell, I giggled.

"Love starts as a feeling. Are you falling in love Mr. Lauris Jeriah?" I teased, he laughed

"Using my words against me huh, Miss Kayden Jaziah." he replied back,

I chuckled.

"But, yeah. I don't know. I just want to be around her" he added, and earned a nudge from Nevan,

me and my girl giggled at his reaction, he might be in love with Miss Ravyn.

"Are you in contact with them?" I asked, and they smile shyly

Oh look at these two, they're falling for their fiancee's.

We were distracted with the door opening, our parents arrived. We stand up and greeted them.

"Let's all be seated" Mr. Ainsworth spoke,

So it's really between Monteverde and Ainsworth.

While having dinner, Mr. Ainsworth started a conversation about wedding.
