Ch.5- Bad Weather

"I don't get this assignment, sir." You stared at the given assignment in your hand.

"It's simple Miss [Last Name]. All you have to do is write a proper essay whether it's digital or handwritten (your choice) about the weather station in our city." Your teacher stacked the papers of your test given today before getting up from his chair.

"But why not the Great Wall of China or conveniently abandoned temples which turned out to be haunted?"

"Well because your friends had already taken those same assignments before. If you hadn't been absent that day because of your injuries, you could have been able to choose the 'Haunted Classroom' in our school." He looked at you with a stern gaze.

"I thought that classroom was a myth?"

"Well... it was a myth which turned out to be true."

"Oh..." You looked down. "That's nice..."

"Please submit your assignment by the end of the month. I will take my leave now." He left the classroom in silence.

You huffed.

There were many reasons why you didn't want to take this assignment.

1. The weather station does not give any access to any person to the main controls.

2. Redson didn't specify which was the lightning button or any other buttons

3. You are lazy

4. You don't like going to crowded places alone.

5. You are still thinking of reasons why you don't want to do this assignment.

"And I was like 'Stop there Demon Bull King' and DBK is all like 'You can't stop me I am crazy'," Mk mimicked DBK making Mei laugh. "And then I grabbed my Staff and whoosh I created this giant mech," Mk slammed his staff on the floor of the ship to prove his point only to spring a leak from a water pipe of the ship

"Uh oh, looks like you sprung a leak MK," Mei pointed out making Mk panic. 

"Oh geez!"

"I've just pulled a quadruple shift at the shop only to see you've all been slacking all day!" Pigsy pointed out in anger as he just come from his shop.

Tang waved him off while sitting on the sofa and slurping his noodles, "Oh, Piggy relax! A little 'Time Off' never hurt anybody,"

 "Yeah, a little time OFF never hurt nobody!" Mk added in.

"Look out!" Sandy yelled from the deck of the ship as a huge crate hurdled towards them. Everyone scurried away from the upcoming crate while Mk (being the idiot he is) froze and stayed. The giant crate fell on top of him with a huge crash.

Everyone yelled out in panic. 

"Kid!" Pigsy yelled in worry. 

CRACK!

Light seeped out from the cracks of the crate as a huge wave of energy burst through it causing it to explode. Mk burst up to the top from the crate, "I am invincible!" 

Everyone sighed in relief while Mei cheered, "Yeah!"

Pigsy sighed, "Look Mk, just because you got the Monkey King's power it doesn't mean--" 

He got interrupted by Mei shooting a missile at him out of nowhere. Pigsy yelled out in fear as the missile landed on Mk but nothing seemed to happen as the smoke from the explosion cleared.

"I am Invincible!" Mk exclaimed in pure joy.

Pigsy placed a shaky hand to his heart, "Look kiddo, you are a superhero now, you are gonna need--"
