There was one spot that both Crystal and Jordan would sneak off to in order for them to get a great view of Luminar, back when their relationship was a secret because they thought it would create complications. In an old tower that overlooked the capital, Jordan thought to himself. By now, the rumor mill had already reached his ears and he was fully aware of Sol's return. And yet none of the news he heard was enough to change his state of mind. Even the steps he heard from behind him coming up the stairs didn't get Jordan Delar to turn around.
"I'm sure you've heard that my brother is back. Sol apparently got himself a wolf while he was gone. We didn't see you while we escorted him out of town and into another place to stay so I figured you would be here." Crystal joined Jordan by standing next to him, side by side. Jordan kept silent and was still stuck in his head about some of the family he lost. "I'll just cut to the chase. I'm not going to tell you to move on. Elgria knows I still haven't moved on from losing my twin brother and father. I get what you're going through." Crystal's words were enough to get Jordan to at least look at her. "Then how? How do you keep going?" It was a simple question he thought of to ask her.
Crystal only thought of giving him a simple answer. She gently held his head and pressed her lips against his. Jordan, a little surprised by the gesture, quickly accepted it. After a little moment's notice, their lips departed. "I can keep going because I still have people like you. You know I love you Jordan." "I love you too..." The two were lost in each other's eyes for a moment. Although Crystal grew a little flustered right after. "You know... I'm starting to think that this place has lost its charm ever since... you know?" Jordan walked over to grab his quiver that was sitting on the ground so that he could attach it to his waist again. "Do you know where we can find a new spot then?" He smiled and held out his hand to her openly. He was willingly wanting her to lead him away from the tower they stood in.
She held his hand and did just that. Before Jordan knew it, they were already heading down the tower's stairs and through the streets of Luminar. The bustling town of people could clearly see the princess as she led the archer through every narrowing gap they came across. It didn't matter if it was through alleys or crossroads, she clearly wanted to show Jordan something and wanted to get there as fast as she could. "You seem excited about this! At this rate I think I might trip! Woah!" Jordan said to her as he almost lost his footing. "You're going to love this spot! It caught my eye when I was helping Sol out with his wolf."
Jordan was happy to see that Crystal was no longer shy about hiding who they both were to anyone. They were out in the open without any secrets. Jordan was able to see Crystal more often and the princess herself didn't have to keep sneaking off to see him in general. Apart from everything else, the time Jordan was spending with Crystal was everything that was currently keeping him sane. Although like a double-edged sword, he was also afraid of losing any future moments like this if anything went south.
When they finally reached the outskirts of Luminar, it was easy for Jordan to see what kind of place Crystal wanted to show him. Although when they arrived, it seemed like it was occupied by two others that considered the spot to be just as beautiful as Crystal did. Sitting on top of a hill and near a windmill was both Lilac and Ella, looking up at a group of altocumulus clouds that hung overhead. "Well it looks like our new spot got found out already." Jordan said. "That's fine. I think we should go speak to them." Crystal assured Jordan to keep going. When they reached the top of the hill, it was easier for Jordan to see the rest of the land. They both sat freely next to the Kinroc sisters.
"How have you two been holding up? I hope our guest rooms are comfy enough." Crystal greeted them. "The rooms are fine. We actually had some time to think." Lilac said while watching Sol struggle to deal with Sköll who were all the way down the hill. Jordan saw that the place they decided to keep the wolf was inside an empty barn although from where the four of them were sitting, the prince might as well look like the size of an ant. "What did you guys think about? If you don't mind me asking." Jordan said.
