Anyone would think that returning home after a long trip would be a relief. Given the circumstances of their situation however, Sol knew better than to trust that lie. As far as Sol knows, the war that started between the Kingdoms of Terra and Fire was all under a big misunderstanding caused by Amaterasu's grandeur of illusions. The worst part about it all is that no one understands what she really did specifically and the dwarves don't even seem to understand that it was all a misunderstanding either and no one could blame them since the Kingdom of Fire is just coming up with no evidence to stop what's going on. The ultimate truth is, whatever Amaterasu did must have been heinous enough to start a war and innocent lives were paying the price for it.
When the airship landed in a clearing next to the capital of Luminar, guards were waiting at the bottom to see who would approach from it, although from a considerable distance that actually did more to show their fear. Sol, being the prince of this kingdom, obviously had to come down first just to show that dwarves weren't invading since they're known to fly airships quite often just as much as the atheras were. "You can lay your weapons down! I'm pretty sure I live here!" Sol Lumer ran off of the ship to greet them just to see how much further the guards were away from him. He was able to see a few guards relax their shoulders after squinting from where they were to see that it was actually Sol himself. One by one, the rest of Sol's friends came down from the ship after him. "Prince Sol! Why are you on an airship?! What happened to the regular ship you left on!" One guard asked him.
"Oh yeah, it caught on fire!" Sol told them. "I'm sorry to hear that Sir! Are you alright?!" The guard asked again. Another guard standing next to him decided to elbow his comrade in the side. "Dude, fire doesn't hurt him, remember?" "Oh yeah. Sorry." The guard said in embarrassment. "I can see your mouths moving but I can't hear you! What was that?!" Sol tried to speak to them again which was only followed by Ella walking past the prince as she impatiently waited for him to stop speaking to the guards. "How about you actually get your feet moving and talk to each other where we can speak at a normal volume... idiot."
Ella clearly didn't want to spend her next birthday on an airship again and she was under the assumption that might happen if Sol didn't learn how to pick up the pace. Lilac, Vincent, and William followed Ella toward the capital. Yvonne scurried to pick up a basket to place Cinder's head in before anyone would notice. "Don't worry hon. Sol will help us explain everything to the queen. Until then, let's try not to freak everyone out with a disembodied head." Yvonne told her before walking off toward the capital with Sol and his wolf, Sköll, who seemed to be following the prince closely from behind.
Sol could see that Yvonne had placed a cloth over the basket to properly hide Cinder's head. "Are you sure that the queen herself won't scream at the sight of me in this state too?" Cinder asked. "I'll warn my mom before we take you out of the basket but I also need to ask her how things are going between us and the Kingdom of Terra." As soon as Sol arrived face to face with some of the guards standing outside of Luminar, he began to ask them if his entire group could be brought straight to his mother, Queen Lisandra. The atheras that had brought them there on the airship were starting to take off again to go back home.
As they all walked through Luminar to make it to where Lisandra was waiting, Sol couldn't help but look around at the faces of everyone that lived there. Some looked terrified out of their minds and others looked relieved to see Sol finally come back. At first, Sol thought that the ones who were terrified were just shocked to see a huge wolf like Sköll casually stroll through the streets. "I'm sorry everyone. Sköll here won't stop following me and he doesn't listen to anyone else so... having him come with me is much safer I assure you." "It's not the wolf that they're concerned with, sir. It's just that we made a mistake. We didn't know how long you would be gone for and well... I'm sure the queen will tell you everything."
