Rose was walking through the passage of the college she's attending when she feels someone's hand on her shoulder.

"Hey, you can't just touch me!" She shouts a bit too loudly while spinning around to face the person that touched her shoulder.

She didn't know the person but, my oh my, did she like what she saw.

"Oh, I'm so sorry. I didn't mean to scare you. I just wanted to get your attention for a second." The stranger says.

He's a tall, handsome latino guy. Green eyes and the cutest nose. Well that's what Rose thinks.

"Oh, well you got my attention now." Rose says trying to act casual.

"Okay? I was wondering if you might know where some of these classes is... I'm kind of new here and the principal decided that I don't need someone to show me around." He says scratching his neck.

"Oh, let me see." She says taking his timetable from him.

"No way! You have writing too?" She asks excitingly.

"I mean, damn writing?" She asks sarcasticly which makes him chuckle lightly.

"Yeah, damn writing." He says rolling his eyes playfully.

"You're in my class. Its right after our lunch break and its in class 20." She says pointing at the class.

"Oh, thanks. And the others are...?" He says and she nods her head.

"Chem is upstairs, first class on your left. And Computer science is also with me on the other side of the building." She says and he sighs.

"How do you know where everything is?" He asks and she just shrugs her shoulders. "Oh, right. You were here logner than me."

"Well it's nice to meet you..." He trails off trying to get her name.

"Rose." She says smiling lightly.

"Nice to meet you, Rose."

Rose liked how her name sounded coming from his mouth.

"I'm Jay." He says to her, so that she don't feel like such a stranger.

"Nice to meet you, Jay." She says and he smiles.

"Come with me. I'm going to show you where you can meet me after lunch so you don't get lost." She says giggling.

Why is Rose giggling? No one knows.

She barely knows him, but she feels so safe, yet nervous around him.

While the two of them headed to the cafeteria, two of her toxic 'friends' walks up to them.

"Oh wow, you're handsome." The one says while twirling her hair around her index finger.

"Sorry, but I'm not interested." He says and she gasps.

"Excuse me? I'm captain of the Cheer team. Everyone is interested." She says scoffing anoyedly.

"Well, I'm not everyone." He says and grabs Rose by the wrist walking towards the cafeteria.

"You really just did that, huh?" Rose asks laughing.

"Everyone always falls at her feet, but you? You're not like the rest." Rose says still laughing.

"And thats a bad thing... how exactly?" He asks stopping and folding his arms.

"Its not a bad thing. Just something to get used to." Rose says and he nods.

"Hey, by the way. She mentioned she's on the cheer team... Are you on it to?" He asks examining her face.
