So it's been about two weeks now and well let's just say things have been chaotic.
After Rose agreed to move in with Jay, things has no doubt been crazy. She started off just sleeping over one or two nights and spending the rest of the week at Mia's place. She didn't want to dive right in with the decision. After getting to know Jay better and realized he isn't out to kill her in her sleep, she became more peaceful with the idea of living with him.
She took up his offer for two reasons. One, she was due on rent for the little apartment she rented and living with her best friend wasn't as suitable when she's still living with her parents.
Her parents adore her, but she knows when she's not welcome. Even Rose started to feel like she needs to give Mia some space.
Two, she didn't like the fact that she's been alone for a long time. She can't really call Mia's place a home, because it isn't her family. It's Mia's.
Jay and Rose fell into a comfortable routine. Rose has her own bathroom and Jay has his. So they have no need to fight over needing to use the bathroom at the same time.
He respects her personal space and she respects his. Jay cooks at night and does the dishes even after Rose fought him about that for days. That man is just way to stubborn.
She does chores too. She does her laundry, tidy where necessary and goes grocery shopping every once in a while. Jay doesn't like her spending her money on groceries when he can pay for it, but what does a girl have to do with so many money?
She got new clothes just before she met Jay. Her closet isn't in need of an upgrade anytime soon. Neither is her bookshelf that already has to carry way more books than it is intended to carry.
While getting to know Jay better though, she has started feeling more open and honest. They spend classes together, but at a respectable distance so that they don't need to be in each other's presence the whole time.
As much as she'd like to be close to him at all times, she doesn't want to be a burden towards him. She's already living in his house.
Unfortunately for Rose, she has gotten herself into a bit of a situation. She started developing feelings for Jay these couple of weeks. It's still minor feelings.. but she can't deny the fact that this guy is slowly creeping into her heart.
They haven't know each other for long, but she couldn't stop herself from falling so quickly. It's probably because of all that time he spends with her friends. He looks peaceful and includes everyone. He even became closer to Liam.
Although the combination isn't what I didn't expect.. it's just sweet how everyone is so welcoming with him and vice versa.
"Rose?" Jay calls to Rose that seems to be in her own little world.
"Yeah?" She says when she heard her name coming from him.
"I'm not going in to college today." He says and Rose gives him a confused expression.
"Is something wrong?" She asks him and he starts coughing and shortly after sneezes. Rose gets up and walks towards him. He looked pale, tired and drained.
"No, I'm fine." He lies but Rose can see right through it. She stands on her tippy toes to feel his temperature. He was heating up.
"Yeah, no. I thought we made a deal on the lying?" She asks and he coughs again shaking his head.
"It's just a cold. I didn't lie to you. I just don't want you to go all 'motherly' on me." He says and she feels offended.
"Well... Sorry." She says turning around feeling slightly hurt by his words.
