Chapter 21

I stared at Harris confused.

"Who are you?" I glared and his jaw dropped as he stared at me in disbelief.

There's no way Harris would ask for that?! Even though he's scent clarified to me that it's him still...

"Really? Liam, you're asking me that?!"

"You can't fool me." I glared daggers at him that made him step backward. "Where is he?" I asked seriously and he rolled his eyes.

"Wow Liam I didn't know that you're a complete idiot." Harris massaged his temple. "If you don't want to do it then fine! You can just say it!" He said annoyed before turning around.

Is he freaking serious?!

I grabbed his arm and spun him around to face me. Harris was staring at me in annoyance and I sighed.

"Of course I would love to but..."

"But?"

"Aren't you hypnotised or something? Do you really want to do it?" I asked confused and he blushed hard.

"Liam!" He glared as he raised his fist, aiming for my face.

"No, no, no, what I mean it's too sudden. You said you encountered someone who looks like Nathan." He slowly put his fist down. "Are you sure about this?" I waved my hand across his face. "Are you alright?"

"I'm fine but he-"

"Liam?" We both looked at the door and found Janine poking her head out from the door. I smiled and she waved. "I've been looking for you! Come let's go somewhere!"

Meet Janine, Zoddy's ex. She's like a sister to me though she's a bit clingy. Her big blue eyes smiled at me as she hooked her long fingers on her brownish hair.

Actually she almost resembled my ideal girl, she's very friendly and honest. But loud... really loud, I remembered when she's still going out with Zoddy. They are a very, VERY loud couple.

"Yeah? Where are we going huh?" She smirked as her eyes shifted to Harris.

"Wow...what do we have here?" She asked, smirking at Harris who's a little bit pale.

"He's the one I'm talking about, he's Harris," I wrapped my arm around his shoulder that made her eyes widened. I looked down at Harris. "Are you alright?" I asked and he slowly nodded.

"Yeah just fine." He tried to smile but he didn't look fine to me.

"Are you sure? Do you want me to call Carter?" He shook his head again.

"I think he's fine! Let's go!" Janine threw her small figure at me and I chuckled when she looked up pouting. "Come on!"

"Okay okay! But Harri-" My eyes widened when I saw him gone. "Did he leave?" Janine pulled away and shrugged.

"That's rude, he should have said something before he left." Janine grumbled and I ruffled her hair.

"He's not rude, maybe he's not feeling really well." She pushed my hand away from her while frowning.

"Stop that!" She glared. "Anyway let's go, I haven't seen the city for a long time." She smiled.

"But the party-"

"We'll be back before it starts." She cut me off. "Please?" I sighed, smiling.

This girl is unstoppable. I'll just check on Harris later.

She freaking shoved me away! I clenched my fist as I stormed away from that room. I can't believe it! Liam didn't even care, he even chuckled when she hugged him in front of me!
