HARRIS

"I don't know why am I the one who's giving the final message but anyway here I go. We grew up together. Mocking each other out... Shoving each other out of the way. Ignoring each for years before you came to me for help. Yeah, such wonderful memories." Hhans chuckled to himself. "I laughed so hard when I learned that she's my mate four years ago, I was like are you freaking serious?! She's only twelve that time so I decided to wait for her to turn eighteen but," He shrugged, looking down at the wooden table in front of him. "Things didn't go that well."

He looked up and smiled at the crowd.

"I'm always watching her from afar, waiting for the right moment to tell her I just wished that I didn't wait at all. I was wrong to wait and let the chance pass." He pinched his nose, holding his emotions in before chuckling. "Yup totally regretted it. So anyways, even though it's too cliche to say it, I...love her." He trailed off his eyes slowly watering up but he's putting on a very strong face. "Yup, so embarrassing I bet she'll punch me in the face if I ever told her but that won't happen now."

Our eyes met and I looked away in embarrassment for crying at his lame message.

"But I do love her enough that I was willing to betray the pack for her. I'm willing to sacrifice myself for the pack if she asks me too... I'm willing because it's for her."

My eyes watered up once again and I immediately covered my face as I sobbed, trying not to get loud to ruin his moment...

But I can't...

"Harris." Liam pulled my head against his chest. "It's fine."

"So yeah," Hhans continued. "That's the end, thanks for your sweet insults, tender and loving punches and kicks. I'll miss you and hope you're in the better place though nothing will beat my bed-"

"Hhans!" His grandma shouted and he just chuckled.

"So yeah and as I promised I'm gonna tell you now." He slowly faced Tania's golden casket and whispered the words he had always been wanting to tell her. I slowly closed my eyes. "Tania, I'm your mate." He whispered goodbyes before going back to his grandmother who hugged him tight which made him smile, sadly.

"Let's put our heads down and say our final goodbye to our sweet and loving angel, Tania." Everyone bowed their heads and kept quiet. After a minute of silent prayer...

Tania slowly left us.

I'm thankful that Liam didn't expose Tania's betrayal to the pack or this funeral would be impossible.

The rain didn't stop pouring as we watched the golden casket get buried six feet under with tears in our eyes.

Everyone is quiet... Only sobs and whimpers can be heard from the crowd.

"Tania...thanks for everything." I whispered and a hand patted my shoulder. I looked up and met Liam's eyes.

"It will be alright." I nodded at him.

Yup, he's right.

It's been a week since the war ended and we won it. All the files were taken back and everyone was rescued but no one celebrated it.

Nathan brought Roel to their pack for the punishments and he promised me that they won't kill him... for Tania.

At least I fulfilled one of her wishes.

"Let's go." Liam led me to his car and I gave my final glance at Tania's grave. Praying that wherever she is right now, I hope she's happy.

Everyone already left because of the heavy rain but Hhans stayed...
