I let out a nervous laugh. "Randy..." I couldn't keep the nerves out of my voice.

"I mean you don't have to decide right now." The joy died in his eyes and he retracted a little. "It's just a cool idea." He murmured.

"No I think it's something we should definitely think about but maybe for more than two seconds." I teased kissing his lips.

"Well it's been three now woman how much time do you need?" He joked, his humour returning was a sign I hadn't bruised his ego too much.

"At least 10." I played along.

"10!" He exclaimed with a gasp. "Might as well sort out my pension." He grinned cheekily. I couldn't help but giggle, he was such a playful adorable human. I searched my brain for Tommy's door but once again the door was locked and frozen, but the Randy door was open, there was no door but an archway, open and inviting.

"I'm just nipping for a cup of tea." Lynne's voice pulled me out of my trance. I looked up to see her sneaking past towards the kitchen.

"Oh!" I tried to get up but Randy kept a hold of me. I blushed pushing my face into his chest.

"Alright." Randy chuckled. "You can come in Mum." He mused watching.

Lynne put the kettle on and walked back through to us. "So!" She walked over to the other chair and settled down. "How did you two meet?" She questioned with a smile.

Randy and I looked at each other, unsure if we should tell the truth. Then Randy cleared his throat. "Well I was driving past this apartment building and I stopped to grab something from the apartment I used to live in and a police officer walked over to me and told me this girl needed a lift and if I would help her out and of course me being the absolute gentleman I am, I said yes." He grinned over at me. "Then this crazy ass girl got into my car, she told me about this adventure she was on and I couldn't help but get involved." Randy shrugged smiling kindly at me.

"To be fair!" I interjected. "I was on a bit of a mission that day and I was flustered and Randy was so calm and carefree I stuck to him after that." I turned over to Lynne. "We became quick friends after that but he was always pranking me and fucking with me." I complained.

"Randal!" Lynne scolded lovingly.

"She gave as good as she got!" He defended himself. "She would fuck with me just as much if not more!" He told her.

"So how did you end up together?" She questioned folding her leg atop the other as she settled into the chair.

I turned to Randy with a frown. What did happen?

Randy let out a sigh. "Well it's not a simple story but Ray started seeing my friend and he fucked her over." He began and it all came back to me.

"Oh yeah! Randy was there for me when things went wrong with Tommy and I..." I paused remembering that this was not a PG story. Randy was smiling up at me, daring me to continue. "I..." I stuttered. "I kind of made a move on Randy..." I cringed. "Randy made me feel safe and I trust him with my life." I was being honest now. "We had been friends for years and if I'm being completely honest I always had a little crush on him." I admitted.

Randy nodded with a proud grin.

"But he fancied me too!" I defended myself. "He wouldn't admit it because he's a cocky bastard." I mused then realised who I was talking to and turned back to his mother. "... Respectfully..." I added causing them both to laugh.

"Nah I'll admit it, I've never been much of a relationship guy but you were someone who kind of saw past all my bullshit and that was intriguing." He admitted. "But she's a fucking loose cannon!" He told his mother. "The woman was bitten by a wolf and killed it with her bare hands!" He exclaimed excitedly. "I wouldn't have believed it had I not seen it with my own two eyes!"
