The doctor sent me out while he worked with Randy. I went straight to the cafeteria to get some cheap shitty coffee. I got the coffee and sat in the waiting room as instructed, my foot was tapping incessantly.

Oh god please hurry up and wake up Randy, we need to get out of here!

As if on cue I saw a guy from the Mandem in the lobby. I kept my head down, he probably wont recognise me.

I took the ring April gave me and put it on my wedding finger. If anyone asked I'm Poppy Evens, I'm here because my sister is having a baby and I'm married to William Evens... I repeated my story in my head, trying to make it fact in my brain.

"Hey." A voice pulled me out my thoughts. Poppy is preppy and girly. I looked up with doe eyes.

Shit it's the Mandem guy.

"Hello." I gave him a small smile, c'mon Ray you're Poppy.

The guy gave me a small flirtatious smile. "I'm so sorry, my name is Matt and I saw you over here and I feel like I know you." He pointed at me with a light frown on his brow.

"Oh really?" I heightened my voice. "Well, my name is Poppy, Poppy Evens." I gave him a little shy smile as I introduced myself.

He frowned and crossed his arms. "I don't recognise the name..." He was really trying to peace it together.

"I'm actually only in town for the weekend." I mused making sure my ring was seen. "My sister is having a baby." I gave him an excited grin. "I can't wait to be an auntie!" I danced a little on my seat.

"Ahh okay." His eyes were on my ring. "Well, it was nice to meet you Poppy, tell your sister congratulations for me." He waved as he began retreating.

"Okay, I will, thanks Matt!" I waved him off like a preppy cheerleader. Once he had disappeared I sagged in my seat. Thank fuck for this outfit and hair change! There is no way I would have gotten away with it if I still looked like me. I would be shot dead.

That was close...

The doctor returned with a tired expression. "Mrs. Bullet?" He questioned with a sigh.

I stood up almost dropping the coffee I held. "Yes?" I squeezed the cup in my hand.

"I think your husband will wake up, he's showing a lot of movement and is talking in his sleep, if you would like to wait with him feel free but I've been given instruction that when he does wake up that a Mr. K is to be informed?" He questioned.

"Yes, Mr. K is our boss and will be informed." I nodded to him. "I'll call him as soon as he wakes up." I was raring to get going now. I wanted to run through the hospital but I knew other people were here so I would try and be patient.

"Alright perfect, I'll let you return to your husband." He gestured behind him to the hallway. I made my way through when I almost walked into a bunch of nurses. I carted around them as I caught the end of their conversation.

"... when Mr. Tommy Tate wakes up..." I heard one of them muttered tiredly.

Oh shit!

I continued down the hallway. Tommy was in the same hospital!? I walked through to the room I had left Randy in. He was still asleep but he had no thing over his mouth now. His head lolled to the side as he breathed on his own. I sat in the seat beside him and sighed.

"I do really need you to wake up." I took his hand in mine, admiring the gun tattoo on it. He had a cut in between his thumb and for finger with stitches in it.

Oh Randy... I caressed the back of his hand.

How did he get so damaged? I was got off really easily in the accident, if it was an accident. Perhaps it was Mandem? No surely if it was that would have been the perfect time to take us out but they didn't.
