Ronnie's POV

There she stood, the only woman I've ever truly been in love with. Crissy began reprimanding me as Juliet sat awkwardly at the counter. Crissy talked about how I shouldn't bring a girl home and let her meet my daughter. I rolled my eyes, knowing she was jealous for some reason.

"Juliet?" I heard Willow ask.

"Yes Willow?" Juliet said.

"Why don't you kiss my dad anymore?" Willow asked.

I looked at Juliet, seeing her face flush red as she thought of what to say. I felt Crissy's eyes on me, glaring into my soul. Juliet looked at me, practically begging me to do something.

"Well," Juliet said, "I could kiss your dad," she looked up at me with a smile, "but I don't want to right now." I watched as Willow nodded. "Maybe later though."

Juliet stood and winked at me, making me eyes go wide a bit. Crissy looked like she could spit fire. I smirked to myself, knowing they both didn't like each other.

"Juliet?" Willow asked again.

"Yes?" She asked.

"Can you hold me?" My daughter said, holding her arms up.

Juliet looked at me, asking my permission without speaking. "Go ahead," I nodded at her. Crissy's head snapped to me, glaring and fuming. I smirked at her.

Juliet picked Willow up, holding her on her hip. I smiled at Juliet, her looking genuinely happy to hold my daughter.

Crissy stormed out of the room, stomping her heels as she walked. I groaned, following her. I reached her, seeing her staring out my balcony window. "What the hell is your problem?" I asked her.

"I don't want that girl holding my daughter!" She whisper-yelled.

I raised an eyebrow at her, "she's my daughter too."

"I don't know her!" She yelled, "Willow doesn't know her! You trust this girl with your child?"

"Yeah," I spat, "I do."

"Well I don't!" She yelled at me, stepping closer, "that girl doesn't-"

"Um..." I heard Juliet say, standing in the living room with Willow still on her hip. "Should I leave?" She asked.

"Yes," Crissy said, crossing her arms over her body.

"No," I said, walking over to her, "stay."

Crissy's phone began to ring, I heard her groan as she walked away to answer it.

"She doesn't like me," Juliet said.

"Who cares what she thinks?" I asked.

"I don't want to ruin whatever relationship you guys have going on," she said, passing Willow to me.

"There's nothing between us," I said, "we only talk for Willow's sake."

"Still," she said, "I don't think-"

"I have to go," Crissy said, walking into the room, "Roy called me, he needs me at the studio."

"Okay," I said.

"If anything happens to Willow, I swear to God-"

"God doesn't exist," I cut her off, earning a laugh from Juliet.

"Just- just watch her," she said, walking out of my house.

Juliet's POV

I couldn't help but smile when Crissy left. Ronnie noticed and chuckled. "Well," she sighed, plopping down on the couch, "that went well."

Ronnie looked at me, "it was amazing."

I laughed at his sarcasm. "What would you like to do Willow?" I asked, watching as Ronnie set her down. She ran to me and sat beside me.

"I don't know," she shrugged, grabbing her bear. "Are you a mommy?"

I felt my face wash with sadness, memories of my pregnancy filling my mind. Ronnie noticed my sudden change of mood and spoke, "why don't you go take a nap, love?" He asked Willow.

"Okay," she said, walking down the hallway.

When she was out of sight, Ronnie sat beside me. "I'm sorry she keeps mentioning a relationship between us and stuff like that, she just-,"

"It's not that," I glanced at him.

"What's wrong then?" He grabbed my hand.

"The miscarriage," I said quietly. He pulled my hand closer to him. "You know, I hated you when I left, but it didn't last long, I missed you... so much. When I found out I was pregnant, I figured I'd have a piece of you with me forever. I wanted that child more than I've wanted anything in my life."

He pulled me into his chest, his hand in my hair. I wasn't crying, I was just sad. I wrapped my arms around his neck, letting him hold me.

"I'm so sorry," he mumbled, "for everything."

I pulled away, looking him in the eyes, "I forgive you."

Time passed by fast as we sat on the couch watching some movies. He had his arm around me, pulling me against his side. My arm draped over his body, my head on his chest. The feeling was nice, so foreign after so many years.

Suddenly, the door opened, revealing Crissy. Ronnie looked at her, pulling me closer to him.

"Hey," Ronnie said.

"What are you doing?" Crissy asked, pointing between us.

"Watching TV?" Ronnie said, pointing at the TV.

"And Willow is alone while you two probably had sex?" She asked.

I sat up, "listen, I don't know what your issue is with me, but please stop assuming things. We didn't have sex, we've been sitting here, awake while Willow is napping. I understand the need to be concerned about your child but there's no need to be mean about it."

"You have the audacity to talk to me like that?" She asked, placing a hand on her chest.

"Listen lady, you need to get over your jealousy issue because I haven't done anything to you," I responded.

"Where's Willow?" She asked Ronnie. "We're leaving."

"Don't bother," I stood, "I'll go."

"Juliet," Ronnie grabbed my hand.

"Can you please drive me home?" I asked.

Ronnie nodded, walking me out of his house.
