Juliet's POV

I unlocked my door, Ronnie behind me. "Did you want to hang out for a bit?" I asked, "I can make dinner."

He grinned, following me inside, "that sounds amazing."

I smiled, "let me get changed real quick, this outfit is uncomfortable."

"Okay," he laughed, sitting on my couch.

I ran to my room, stripping myself and throwing in a shirt and some pajama pants. I brushed my hair and left my room, walking to the kitchen.

"What do you feel like?" I asked, opening my fridge.

"Anything is fine," he shrugged.

"Pasta?" I asked.

"Sounds great."

I pulled out some noodles and spaghetti sauce, beginning to cook. The smell filled my nose, making my mouth water. I heard my TV turn on, making me smile that he was comfortable at my apartment.

I heard music begin to play, making me start swaying my hips as I cooked. I bobbed my head to the beat of the song I didn't know. Suddenly, my waist was grabbed and I was spun around. "Dance with me?" Ronnie laughed at his own question.

"Slow dance to a rock song?" I laughed.

"Why the hell not?" He grabbed my hand, pulling my waist close to him.

It wasn't necessarily a slow dance, just the same posture as a slow dance. I couldn't help but laugh at his spontaneous nature. It was nice to see him like this. I bit my lip, moving my body closer to his in a way that he wouldn't notice I'd done it on purpose. I felt his fingers grip my lower back, sending shivers through my body.

"Okay, okay, mister rockstar, I need to cook," I said, trying to pull away.

He pulled me back to him, dipping me, making me laugh. "Fine," he pouted.

I let go of him, taking two steps to my stove. As I continued cooking, I felt his head on my shoulder. I glanced over at him, trying to control my heart pounding. His arms snaked around my waist, gripping me tightly. I couldn't help but smile.

"You know," he started, his breath on my neck making me shiver, "I love this outfit on you."

I chuckled, "I'm in my pajamas."

"And I like you like this," his hands gripped my hips making my breath hitch in my throat, "it's been a while since I've seen you dressed like this," his hand moved up my side, "I missed it."

He pulled away, leaving me breathless. "D-dinner's ready," I cleared my throat.

I placed out plates on my small table, getting out two glasses from my cupboard. I poured water in them and turned, seeing Ronnie sitting at the table and staring at me. I placed our glasses down and sat, both of us eating in silence.

I felt his eyes on me, making me look up. I raised an eyebrow, "what?" I asked, my mouth full of spaghetti.

He lifted his hand and his finger connected with my lip, wiping the sauce off. I was about to start eating again when I saw him lick his finger, making my face go red. He smirked to himself and continued eating.

I stood when we were done, taking our plates to the sink and beginning to wash them. "Can I help?" Ronnie asked.

I looked over at him, "I'm okay."

When I finished, I found him sitting on my couch, watching something I didn't know. I sat beside him, crossing my legs. He reached around me, pulling me against his side. "Thank you for dinner, it was delicious," he said, looking down at me.

"Of course," I said, still not fully processing the events of today.

We sat in silence, just watching TV, though, I wasn't watching it, I was too busy thinking about Ronnie. When I focused on my position, I realized I was significantly closer to him then I was when I first sat down. My leg was now wrapped around his.

"Ronnie?" I asked, looking up at him.

"Hm?" He hummed, looking down at me.

"Do you ever think about us..."

"All the time," he responded quickly.

"No, like, do you ever think about the past," I sat up, crossing my legs and facing him, "like your old car, that black and white guitar, the death smash concert, smoking weed at the abandoned building, singing to me in the car..." I trailed off, looking down.

"What? You want me to sing to you again?" He grinned.

"No!" I laughed, lightly pushing him.

"Then what are you getting at, Dear Juliet?"

My heart ached at the name I hadn't heard in so long. "I just miss you," I shrugged, "I want my Ronnie back..."

"Juliet," he grabbed my hand, pulling it to his lips, "you always had me."

I picked my hand up, rubbing it over his cheek as I leaned in. I connected my lips with his, giving all of my emotions to him through this one kiss. He held on to my waist and pulled me closer to him, making me end up on his lap facing him. I bit his lip, making him open his mouth to let me inside. I let my hands go to the sides of his neck as his rested on my hips.

I pulled away, seeing him staring at me with no words. I just looked at him, waiting for him to speak but he didn't. "Wow, I made you speechless," I laughed.

He didn't laugh, he didn't even smile, he just crashed my lips back onto his. I moaned at the sudden contact, making him let out a hum in response.

I found myself thinking of Willow and Crissy. I tried to push the thoughts away but they kept coming back, making me pull away again. "What's wrong?" He asked.

"You have a daughter," I said, pushing my hair out of my face.

"Yes I do," he responded.

"I can't get involved with you and make her confused about her parents," I said.

"Juliet," he sighed, "you're overthinking. Willow understands me and Crissy aren't together, I don't think you'd complicate anything more than it already is."

"I'm sorry, I just don't want to intrude on how your life is going," I played with his fingers.

"My life would be going better if you were with me."
