Juliet's POV

I watched as Ronnie and the guys performed, all naturals at it. I didn't know any of the words so I just clapped and smiled. Ronnie would sneak glances at me and give me a wink, making me smile back.

"This one is our newest, first time playing it live," Ronnie said, looking at me.

Just then, my heart fell to my stomach as he began playing the song he wrote about me. The drums added so much the the song. Ronnie stood still by the mic, calming from his running around and screaming.

I cheered, clapping for him as he looked at me. He smiled, nodding at me.

When the song ended, Ronnie spoke, "thanks for coming out everybody!"

People cheered as the began walking off stage. Ronnie ran straight to me with the biggest smile on his face as he pick me up, swinging me around as he embraced me.

"That was amazing!" I smiled with a laugh.

"It was because you're here," he said, I gave him a look of confusion, "you're my good luck."

My stomach did flips when he said that, "shut up," I laughed to hide my embarrassment.

"Come on," he said, setting me down and grabbing my hand, "let's celebrate."

He slung his arm over my shoulder, a big grin on his face, still having an adrenaline rush from the show. I looked up at him with a faint smile, though visions of Griffin flooded my head. I shook them away, trying to focus on the now.

He pulled me back to the truck, his band mates following behind us, chatting. "Where are we celebrating?" I asked.

"One of the guys' friends has a house like right across the street basically," Ronnie said, leading me to his room in the back.

"What are we doing back here?" I asked with a laugh.

"I gotta change, I'm all sweaty," he said, laughing, "if you need to, do it now."

I nodded, watching as he walked into the bathroom. I grabbed my bag, grabbing a bralette and a leather jacket, leaving my leather pants and studded heels on. I never normally had a reason to dress like this, but it was nice to finally have that.

When Ronnie came out of the bathroom, he had on ripped skinnies and a cutoff with a leather jacket. He grinned, "look at us matching."

I laughed, "shut up."

"Alright, come on," he said, lacing our fingers together. We walked out of the truck behind the band mates, Ronnie's arm now around my shoulder.

When we arrived at the house, music and party lights were on, making my heart face. I was excited, I hadn't been to a party like this practically never. I missed it in my high school years and Griffin never did this stuff, so this was basically my first party.

Ronnie held me close to him as we walked inside. We got a lot of stares from people I didn't know but Ronnie did. He nodded at people and did some handshakes as we walked through the house.

He led us to the living room, pulling me down next to him on the couch, his arm still around me. Our sides were pressed together as he held me tightly against him. I felt my cheeks heat up.

"Ronnie?" I asked, looking up at him.

He looked down at me with a smile, "Hm?"

"You were amazing tonight," I said, "all of you were."

He grinned, "thank you, but you already said that."

"I know, it's just," I sighed, looking down, "I don't know... it's just nice to see you again. To hang out with you again. I missed this."

He looked down at me, his face sincere, "I missed it too, Juliet. Every fucking day I missed you. I thought about you constantly."

I weakly smiled, watching as he looked at me with a completely serious face. I embraced him, wrapping my arms around his neck, almost on his lap. He hugged me back, his head in my hair as I heard him take a deep breath in.

I pulled away, placing my hand on his cheek, rubbing my thumb over his cheekbone before pulling it away.

"Ronnie," a band mate said, handing him a cup of something. "Juliet," he said, handing me one.

"Um, what is this?" I asked, worried about the alcohol I could smell in the air.

"Lemonade," he said.

I nodded, taking a sip. "That's really good," I said.

The night went on and I slowly felt myself drifting from reality, becoming unaware of what was happening around me.

*Ronnie's POV*

I looked to my left, seeing Juliet laughing with my friends. God, I missed her. She's even more beautiful now, if even possible. It bothered me that she had a boyfriend, but I wouldn't do anything to jeopardize that. I know she cares about him.

"Juliet," I said.

She turned to me, a huge grin on her face as she calmed down from laughter, "yes handsome?" She asked, placing her hands on my chest.

I grabbed her hands, taking them off of me, "what's gotten into you?" I asked, my eyes widened.

"Nothing, geez, I'm having fun. Don't you want me to get along with your friends?" She asked.

I reached around her, grabbing her cup off the table. I took a sip, immediately spitting it out. "Jesus Christ this shit is loaded," I said, standing.

"Hey!" She yelled, standing with me, "that's mine, don't waste it!"

She reached for the cup but I pulled it away, "no, I'm not letting you become an alcoholic again on my expense."

"You're lame," she whined, jumping for the cup that I held in the air.

"Okay, I'm lame," I said, throwing the cup in the trash. I walked to Monte, angry. "Dude, what the fuck is in that lemonade?" I yelled.

"Vodka," he said, shrugging.

"What the fuck? Don't you remember me telling you she's a recovered addict?" I yelled again.

His eyes went wide, "shit."

"Yeah," I glared, "now she's drunk and she's gonna want to do it again."

"Dude, I'm sorry-"

I walked away, grabbing Juliet's hand and leading her out of the house. She objected constantly, yelling at me to let go of her. Screaming at me that I ruined her night. I didn't care. I needed to fix this.

I got us back to the bus, pulling her inside and to the back in my room. When I let go, she smacked my arm. I fought the urge to laugh. "You need to sleep," I said, sitting her on my bed.

"I'm not tired," she whined.

"I don't care," I said, "come on, get in bed."

"Geez, if you wanna fuck me that bad just say it," she began laughing.

"Juliet, stop," I said, laying her on my bed. "Please, get some sleep."

"Come lay with me," she held out her arms.

I stared at her for a moment before walking over. I took off my shoes and hopped into bed, laying next to her. "Now will you go to sleep?" I asked.

I felt her body move, making my eyes open. She wrapped her hands around my torso and laid her head on my chest, her leg bent on top of mine. She let out a sigh as I watched her close her eyes.

"I missed this," she hummed.
