The city is slowly rebuilding and the clones are slowly starting to integrate into society. But it's not an easy transition, there are still many challenges to overcome. Rine is determined to help others like her to do so, she starts to give speeches and talks to groups of people, in schools, and universities, trying to educate them on the realities of being a clone and the discrimination they face. She also starts to work with local organizations that help the clones to find jobs and housing, to navigate the complex legal system, and to access medical and mental health services.
"I'm not a second-class citizen anymore," Rine thought to herself as she passed a group of clones on the street. They looked up at her with gratitude and hope in their eyes, and Rine knew that she had to use her powers, skills, and experiences to help them.
Rine joined the rebellion and became an advocate for the clones. She fought against discrimination and corruption wherever she found it. She also started to speak publicly about her experiences and the importance of treating clones as equals.
"We deserve to live our lives on our own terms," Rine declared at a rally, her voice ringing out across the crowd. "No one should be treated as less than human because of how they were created." Rine's words drew some cheers, but more than that there was support. It was a sentiment she knew she could rally to and spread to every corner of the country. Her words would be carried forward and heard throughout the world.
But even though she gained support, Rine continued to struggle to find peace within herself. There was still too much uncertainty left in her brain about what to call herself. She had to choose whether or not to stay the same Rine she remembered, or change. If she did stay the same, then her memories of the girl named Ruby were just as important to her, but if she wanted to become someone else, then who was she going to be? Was she going to become a woman? Would her identity remain the same?
Rine didn't know what she wanted to be when the time came. So she decided to start looking into what the next stage would look like and if she could handle it. She planned on finding ways to better integrate with humans and to help ease people's fears. And she hoped to see more clones.
For this reason, Rine's first concern was to find her sister, Ruby Rose.
"Where does she think I am?" Rine asked herself as she walked through the busy streets of the busy downtown area of New Avalon. Her sister might've moved away already; she wasn't exactly sure. After all, she hadn't been home in months.
She couldn't believe her sister had abandoned her like that. Ruby Rose and her family had raised her and had taken care of her since birth. Ruby Rose always had been there for her, even before they became sisters. And then she went ahead and ran away without saying goodbye! Not only did Ruby run away, but she left Rine completely alone to deal with the world on her own.
Rine couldn't believe how little time she had spent with her family and sister. In a matter of weeks, she lost everything, including her parents and her beloved sister.
"This is ridiculous," Rine whispered angrily. "They're just clones!" She stopped walking and took several deep breaths to calm her irritation and disappointment.
"How could someone do this to another person? How could my family have gone so wrong? We were supposed to live happily ever after," Rine sobbed quietly as tears rolled down her cheeks. She wiped them away impatiently and continued walking towards her apartment building where Ruby Rose was staying.
As she got closer to her house, Rine saw the lights on in the living room windows and a faint glow of pink light coming out from the window. Her heart pounded in her chest as she tried to slow her rapid heartbeat. "Is someone home?" She called tentatively.
