Ava stood at the front of the rebellion, her eyes fixed on the government building in the distance. She turned to the clones around her and shouted, "Are you ready to fight for our freedom?" The clones eagerly nodded in agreement, their trust in Ava unwavering. They knew she had a deep understanding of their situation and a clear vision for their future. One clone asked, "Ava, what inspired you to lead this rebellion? What's your past with this government?" Ava paused for a moment before responding, "That's a story for another day. Right now, let's focus on creating a better future for us all."
With fierce determination, she lifted her arm and thrust her fist high into the air. In response, the crowd followed suit, their arms extending towards the sky, their fists united in a powerful and passionate gesture of unity. Their cheers echoed through the streets, a fierce battle cry that signaled their readiness to fight. The group stood together, a united front, ready to take on whatever challenges lay ahead.
"Come, my brothers and sisters! Let us make our home here on this island! And we shall defend the peace and rule the land!" Ava yelled to the hundreds of other rebel soldiers gathered outside of the Government Building. Their chants echoed across the entire plaza as the rebel soldiers began marching into position, forming a tight column with swords drawn and their eyes focused on the front doors.
Meanwhile at the Government Building, General O'Connell was preparing himself for the battle ahead. His military training had prepared him for all things, and the battle ahead wouldn't be any different. If there were any surprises that the clones might be able to deliver to him, well, he'd just have to wait and see what happened.
General O'Connell walked through the door into the hallway and was greeted by his generals. There were more than 100 generals present that he could count. Each of the generals wore full battle armor, complete with helmets, breastplates and greaves. Each of them held a large sword in one hand as they saluted the general. He gave them both a short smile, which they returned. The general was tall, broad shouldered and muscular. His head was shaved clean and he had brown eyes. His hair was cropped short, showing only a small portion of his scalp. Most likely, the general's appearance would have made any woman swoon if she wasn't married. As a result, the generals called him "Big Boy", because they thought his presence was intimidating.
The general led them down the hallway and entered the war room, the main conference room that contained holographic projections and maps of the area. On each wall were several holographic displays depicting various areas around the planet that needed immediate attention.
General O'Connell took his seat at the head of the table and motioned for one of the officers to open the presentation on the screen beside him. It showed the current status of the situation on Edenia; all of the planets and systems that had participated in the conflict against the government were represented on the screen. The last time the holograms had shown the planet's state was during Operation Genesis, when everything had changed forever. Now the map showed a view taken from a fighter jet flying above the Earth at a height of approximately 7500 feet from its surface. This image was used for planning purposes but, unfortunately, it could never really be captured with any detail.
"Good evening gentlemen," General O'Connell spoke quietly, "As you can see, I've sent out orders to every member of our fleet to meet me at the central square at 0600 hours tonight, to discuss a plan of action." The generals nodded in acknowledgment. "This afternoon, we will begin evacuating as many people as possible to the spaceport in Sector C6. In the meantime, we must prepare ourselves for the possibility that they may be trying to attack us while we're evacuating. We must ensure that our ships are prepared for anything that might occur. That means that we'll need to build some sort of defense perimeter and have our fighters patrol the skies. If the government forces attempt to attack us or send troops after our convoy, we must prepare ourselves to repel their forces in the hopes of stopping them from destroying everything."
