Two weeks came by pretty fast and I wasn't going to deny it. The semester was moving so well.

We finally had our interim assessment over these past two weeks, which means we could breathe for a while.

Darien and Cheryl became friends pretty quickly to my surprise.

After their banter on Darien's fame, they made up with an ice cream from the cafeteria and now they considered themselves friends.

Although I was happy to see Darien and my friends close, it hurted in a silly way every time he laughed with them.

Don't get me wrong I was ecstatic to have a fourth person in the group but I felt he should be with me only, mainly because of what we shared as kids.

My jealousy was getting the best of me and I shamelessly loved it.

Ever since I scrolled through his page on the gram, I haven't had the guts to ask him for the picture I really liked. Not because I was scared, but I felt things would be awkward if I did. So I've been trying to catch him with his phone elsewhere but I haven't had the chance lately.

What will I even use the picture for? I snickered at my thought.

I might have it framed or make it a big one and put in my room. I laughed lightly shaking my head.

Probably not. Someone may think I have a crush on him.

"Penny for your thoughts?" I raised my head from my laptop to see the person I was thinking about.

"Hey what's up?" I smiled at him and went back to my laptop.

I was starting a new feature and didn't want any distractions. I didn't want to procrastinate like the one I did some weeks ago.

"I've been looking for you all over campus and a little birdy told me I'd find you here." My mouth twitched at his words.

"And who's this little birdy?" I asked shutting down  my laptop to look at him.

"You'd be surprised." He smirked with so much mischief in his eyes.

"Oh don't even bother." I scrunched my face after connecting the dots.

He laughed running his hands through his curls.

"It's not that bad though." He laughed louder at my face which looked utterly disgusted.

"It's true. I'd die to have people fantasizing me".

"Gross." I gagged and he scooted his chair a bit closer to me.

"Come to think of it, you know a lot of girls do daydream about you a lot. It's getting kinda disgusting lately believe me."

I thought he'd wince at my remarks but he shrugged.

"I'm used to it."

He smirked and slurped on my drink. My hands reached out to take it from him but he turned and slurped on it harder.

"That's not yours." I scolded trying to get over his broad back.

He got up running away with my laptop in hand leaving me no choice but to take my bag and run after him.

"Darien, if you don't give it back I'm gonna whoop your ass." He guffawed at my words running faster.

At this point, I was panting and sweating profusely running around campus for my drink and my laptop but specifically the drink.

A lot of people on campus knew I didn't play with my food and now he was going to get it from me.

I stopped when I couldn't find my breath and looked around but couldn't find him. I groaned and run to our school park.
