(Ace's POV)

I'm sitting on the couch drinking some beer, Husker's over at the bar with Alastor and Angeldust just chatting. Suddenly Charlie walks up to me. "Hey, Charlie." I say before taking another swig of the beer.

"Hey Ace, I wanted to ask you if you wanted to help me with something!" She gets in front of me with a stack of papers in hand, smiling brightly as usual.

"Sure, whatcha need?" I put my bottle down.

"Well as you know Valentine's Day is coming up and I thought for the special occasion we'd throw a party! Ya'know?!" She gets up in my face, so close our noses could touch, and eye contact was directed at my eyes. She backs up and starts pacing back and forth before I could respond. "Bringing all our families and friends together to show them all our success and progress on the 10th so they aren't busy, it's perfect!" She starts to jump up and down a bit.

"Oh umm, well I will gladly help you Charlie!" I get up. "But why are you asking me and not asking everyone?"

"It's cause she already asked us toots!" Angel calls out from the bar. "You're the last one!" I look back at her.

"You're telling me last? Why?"

"Well, I wanted to ask you to be my co-party planner! I knew that if I told you when I told everyone else, you would back out and go for a lesser job and let Vaggie or Alastor take it."

"No, I wouldn't." I scoffed. Charlie looked at me with a 'Really Dude?' face on. She puts her smile back on and carries on pacing.

"Everyone else has already been given a job, Angeldust's on texting an invite to everyone, Alastor is on food, Vaggie is on hanging decorations, Nifty is making sure the place is clean, and Husker is on drinks!" She smiles. "All that's left is your job." She looks at me dead in the eye, not breaking eye contact, I didn't feel like I was cut out for co-planner, especially for a Valentine's Day party. But her beady, puppy dog-like eyes staring into my soul wouldn't let me say no. I sighed.

"Fine, what do I need to do?"

"Perfect!" She hands me the stack of papers. "Read the top one." I look at it to read 'Répondez S'il Vous Plaît!'.

"RSVP?"

"Yeah! I need you to start by making sure how many people are coming with Angel so Al knows how much food to make!"

"Alright," I say, I put down the papers on the table, flipping through them all. "And the rest of this?"

"Is for when you finish your first task." She says smiling even more brightly somehow.

"Alright." I turn around and walk over to Angeldust and the other two gay guys. I look back to see Charlie walk away down the hallway. I turn back around to face Angel, drinking a martini.

"Got stuck with a job you didn't want huh? Hehe, unlucky you." He takes a sip of his martini.

"Don't start Angel, you were just complaining about how you didn't wanna text a bunch of people invites to the party 2 minutes ago," Husker responds while cleaning a glass.

"Hey! N-no I wasn't!" Angel cries, slamming his martini down.

"It is true, you even said, quote on quote, 'I'm so sick of getting the crappy jobs! Why can't I get to do the fun shit like Vaggie. Charlie's totally picking favorites!'" Al says taking a sip of his tea.

"I- WHY YOU GUYS GOTTA TURN ON ME LIKE THAT YOU ASSHOLES!-"

I laugh. "Calm down Angel, I don't care. I just need the RSVP's."

"Right, well you gonna have to wait a bit. I just sent the message out to like 30 people a minute ago."

"30? Why so many?"

"Well Charlie wanted us to invite anyone, everyone we wanted, from friends to family. HELL! Even enemies! Just anyone!" Angel grabs his martini again but realizes it's empty. "Husky~ another drink please~" Husker grabs and refills it then hands it back to him. "Thanks, babe~"

"Oh, well I'll just wait for some responses then, got nothing else better to do." I sit down on one of the stools. "Beer me." Husker pulls one out and hands it to me. I open it up and take a good swig of it, I placed it back down on the table to then take a minute to think, 'why did Charlie want me to be the co-planner?'

(Charlie's POV)

"Charlie, do you think it's a good idea? Going behind his back?" Vaggie asks me as we walk down the hallway.

"It's not going behind his back! I'm helping him! It's obvious that he misses love but is too scared to go looking for it." I cheerfully reply.

"You sure hun? Maybe he just doesn't want a relationship-"

"No, no! He does! He just needs a lil' help finding the right one! From me!" I smile. "While he's working on the RSVPs, I'll be finding him a date to the party!" I start to skip with joy.

"What if he doesn't like them when he first meets them?" Vaggie asks.

"He will! Because I'm gonna find him THE ONE!" I stop to pose and smile gleefully. Vaggie chuckles and walks over to place a kiss on my head.

"Just remember to have the party ready to go it's in a week after all. just- make it fun, have fun." She smiles at me as she holds my face in her hands. "And don't forget your valentine." She gives me a kiss on my lips, I blush a little.

"I know Vaggie, I won't forget it." I stand up and take her hands. "This party will be perfect!" I bring her into a side hug. "And fun!"
