(Ace's POV)

Hours of waiting for someone to RSVP felt likes days, I had finished my bottle and Angel finished 5 martinis, Husker of course finished off the most beverages and Al didn't drink any alcohol, just read his book and took sips of his tea. Finally, People finally RSVP'd and I took down their names on the paper Charlie gave me. 'Molly, Arackniss, Lucifer +5, Stolas +1, Blitzo +3, Rosie +1, Cherribomb, Pentious, and Baxter.' "Finally, it's done." I sighed, then I looked back over it. "Angel this is nowhere near 30 people." 

"Hey! I was exaggerating, I ain't an expert at being exact." Angel waves it off as he gets up. "Now that your finished, I'm gonna go lay down, those martinis ain't sitting well." He walks over to the hallway but turns around to face us one more time. "Oh, boys~ wanna come join me?~" I hear Husker sigh.

"You think we should Al, after how he yelled at us and then left us with this mess?" Husk grinned while cleaning up Angel's martinis. 

"Hmm I don't know Husk, maybe we should go cuddle together and let Angel think about what he's done," Al replies as he sips the last of his tea. 

"I-Uh- guys! Come on! Don't be like that! That was hours ago! Come cuddle with me!" Angel whined, laying against the wall waiting. We all laugh at Angel's pouts before Husk and Al got up. 

"We've coming dear." Al says before cleaning his cup and putting it up. Husker walks around to Al.

"I guess we can forgive you." Husker rolls his eyes and chuckles under his breath as they meet Angel at the entrance to the hallway. Angel stopped pouting, but you could see he was a little peeved about how the boys tried to mess with him.

"Ace dear, will you be alright here by yourself?" Al asks me.

"Yeah, I'm fine! I'm about to go find Charlie anyway so I can get another chore." I roll my eyes. "You guys can go." Al nods at me before he and Husk got dragged off by Angel to their room. You could hear Al and Husker telling him to let go and Angel replying with no every time as they walked away, but soon the voices faded and I was left by myself. I sighed and got up off my stool. 'Gotta go find Charlie.' I thought. I grabbed my phone and dialed her number. I put it to my ear to listen to the ringing of the phone before she picked up. 'Hello?'

"Hey Charlie, it's me, I just got my first task finished. What's next?"

'Oh, look at the next page!' I look at the stack of papers and lift the first paper up and looked at the next one. 'Check on Nifty' 

"Check on Nifty?" I asked.

'Yeah! Make sure she's getting the hotel cleaned and ready for the party!'

"Alright.." Why would I need to check on Nifty to make sure she's cleaning? She's always cleaning when she can.

'Perfect! Just go through the stack one by one and call me once it's all done, ok?'

"Ok?"

'Alright! Well, gotta finish helping Vaggie with shopping, talk to you later!'

"Yeah, see yah." She hangs up. Charlie was kind of acting weird, why do the packet one by one, why not all? Why check on Nifty or wait by Angel for RSVPs? It puzzled me. 'Maybe she's just stressed out because her parents are gonna be at the party.' I thought, remembering Lucifer RSVP'd. I just decided to give her the benefit of the doubt and do what she asked without questioning everything. "Time to go find Nifty," I say before walking down the hallway, hoping she was close. 

(Charlie's POV)

"Alright we gotta hurry up, he's already got the first task done and it's only been a few hours!!" I whimpered. I hadn't found anyone yet for him and he got the hardest task done, I start to panic.

"Calm down hun, we'll find someone. Now what did you say he liked?" Vaggie looks to me.

"Oh! Right! He likes kind gentlemen or a out-going women, no matter gender, they must like coffee!"

"Why?"

"Because Ace loves making coffee for people, it's his favorite thing to do! Why would he get with someone who hated coffee?" I jump up and down, trying not to alert the demons around her.

"You are getting really out of hand with this, Charlie." Vaggie shakes her head while carrying a few bags with both hands.

"I just- want to help him, he's been with us a year but it seems that I haven't helped him at all." I look away from Vaggie, I didn't want her to see my smile fade a bit. I look back at her when I feel her hand on my shoulder.

"Hey, don't be hard on yourself, sometimes it takes a bit before you can fully understand how to help some one, just take your time." Vaggie smiled, causing me to smile.

"Thanks Vags."

"Anytime hun." We continued to walk down the street. "It's getting pretty late though maybe we should head home now." I didn't want to go home, I wanted to find The One for Ace but- it was late. 

"Yeah.. We should!" I tried to act more cheery. Vaggie smiles and continued to walk.

"Finally! These bags are so heavy!" Vaggie groaned jokingly. I laughed.

"You aren't wrong, hehe, let's get home."
