(Charlie's POV)

I sneak in through the window, hoping not to get caught. I fumble a bit almost dropping my phone, but I catch it. I sigh as I get through and take off my coat, hanging it on my rack. I place my phone on my stand, then walked toward my bed ready to pass out when suddenly the light turns on. I look over at the switch to see Vaggie, she did not look impressed. 

"Oh!- Vaggie!- What are you doing up?"

"I should be asking you the same thing." She gives me a glare. "Where were you?" 

"I- was with Al, hanging up more posters for the hotel." I smile nervously. Alastor suddenly appeared behind Vaggie.

"Try again dear." 

"I- umm-" I began to stutter.

"Just tell the truth Charlie, it isn't gonna hurt you." Vaggie shakes her head. 

"Fineeee! I was out and about for a stroll." 

"At Zozo's?" 

"Yeeeeaaaaah, around there."

"The same place Ace went for his date?"

"Yeeeeeaaaaahhhh." I began to sweat a lot. I was getting glared at by Alastor and Vaggie.

"Charlie, you need to stay out of their business, if they become a couple then they become a couple, leave it be." Alastor says in response. 

"Wait- how did you- Vaggie?" I look to Vaggie.

"I- told him everything, I needed some sort of help finding where you were and he was the only one who could." Vaggie rolled her eyes at Alastor.

"Glad I could be of assistance." Alastor gave a smug smile to Vaggie, making her scoff.

"But- I just had to make sure they had a good night that's all." I smiled nervously.

"Charlie- I think you're becoming obsessed." Vaggie walks toward me.

"No, I'm not. I'm just making sure Ace is happy." I rub my arm.

"Charlie." She grabs my hand and holds it. "Is this more about your parents than Ace?"

"W-what do you mean?"

"Charlie, you're afraid that your parents won't be happy with what you have accomplished." I gave a shocked look, then looked away from her. "And you try to help Ace find love to cope with that thought." I didn't know how to respond to this, it was all true I just- wish it wasn't. "I promise you hun, no matter how they react, you are still an amazing and brave person who will succeed no matter how many tries." 

"You really think so?" I look at her.

"I know so." She goes in for a kiss, and I let her. We kiss for a while until we heard a cough from the doorway.

"I am glad you two have made up but can you wait until I'm out of the room?" I chuckle, Vaggie was not impressed.

"Get out of here Al." Vaggie grumbles, Al turns around.

"You're welcome." Al says cheerfully before walking out. Even though Vaggie hated the Radio Demon, she was able to compromise for me. I look back at her.

"You know, I think you and Al could be good friends one day-" 

"Nope, you can try to get Ace and his date together but me and Al will never be friends." We both look at each other then start laughing. 

"I love you Vaggie."

"I love you too Charlie." We put our heads together, suddenly Vaggie pulls away. "Wait, how exactly did you spy on Ace and his date?" I get really sweaty again.

"Welllllll-"

"Charlie." Vaggie gives me a glare. 

"Fine, I might have watched them from a table a far and I sorta took some pictures of them enjoying their time together?" I look away avoiding eye contact. Vaggie sighs.

"I'll let you keep them if you show them to me and no one else, deal?" I nod my head rapidly. I go to grab my phone and Vaggie went and sat on the bed. I joined her, unlocking my phone to show her the pictures I took.

"This is them laughing about random nonsense, this is Ace blushing about something Greyhat said, this is them just talking, and this one is when they hugged outside Zozo's." I scrolled through all them showing each and every one. Vaggie gave a weird look.

"You creepy little stalker." She laughed, "I love you." She laid her head on my shoulder, I smiled then laid my head on Vaggie's, placing my phone aside. 

"I love you too."

(Greyhat's POV)

I finally got home after waiting a few minutes for my ride to arrive. I walked in and up the stairs to my room. Before I went in I was stopped. "Greyhat!" I looked to see Dr. Flug.

"Dr. Flug, how goes it?"

"Good, we are partying down the hall wanna come join? You can tell me all about you date there."

"Umm sure." I started to walk with Flug down the hallway into a room filled with a bunch of overlords drinking and chatting. I spotted Blackhat and Whitehat chatting with Lucifer and his buddies in the corner. I walk over to where Slug was standing next to the table with drinks on top. He looks over at me and Flug.

"Hey Greyhat, how was your date?"

"It went- well."

"Well? Come on, tell us what happened."

"Yeah, give us details." Flug smiled. 

"Well- We ate Alfredo and salad." 

"Oh, how was it?" 

"The Alfredo tasted good but the salad tasted terrible-" I snicker at the thought. "I spat it out, I guess I made a weird face while doing it cause Ace found it hilarious."

"Oh how cute."

"Yeah, wasn't much else but talking."

"What did you talk about?" Slug asked.

"Well-" I blush. "I rather not say."

"Oooooohhh~ Alright." Flug laughed along with Slug, I grow purple in embarrassment. 

"Greyhat! You've finally arrived!" I turned around to see Blackhat and Whitehat. "How was your date?"

"It went well but he won't tell us what happened." Slug responds. 

"I told you what happened." 

"Yeah what you ate, nothing else."

"You all are asking the wrong questions." We all look at Blackhat. "Greyhat, are you two on for a second date?" Flug gasps excitedly, along with Whitehat, I look away.

"Actually yes, me and him are going as dates to the party this Friday." Flug squeals.

"You're growing up so fast!" I roll my eyes. 

"Calm down Flug, he is not a child." Blackhat says looking at Flug, Flug grabs and holds onto Blackhat's arm.

"I know it's just nice seeing him out here, getting the real life experience ya'know?" He looks up at Blackhat with big eyes. Blackhat blushes and looks away.

"Yes, yes, I guess so, now please let go of my arm." Flug let's go but still in a cheery mood.

"I'm glad you two are moving forward, but I think it's time we get this party started!" Whitehat says proudly. Everyone agrees, except Blackhat who just nodded, and goes toward the dance floor, except me. What if I screw up on the second date? I made him cry on the first one what if I do worse? I thought. I was getting caught up in my mind until I feel a tap, I look up to see Flug. 

"Come on, let's go party! You had a good date, so don't think too much into it. Right now you're at a party, so stop sulking!" Flug pulls on my arm, I smile and follow him to the floor, I shouldn't worry, I should just- be myself.
